One of the female workers felt the need to express her frustration, both with a customer when she hung up the phone, and with me when I dropped a couple of things (no damage, just made some noise, and of course I neatly placed back the things I dropped). Not to mention she sounded bothered when I asked a question about their sunglasses. Either that day didn’t start out right for her (it was only 9am), or customer service in a shop where people are trying to make their sick loved ones smile by buying them something nice isn’t the placement for her.
