Today I was in for the second time for a follow-up appointment at Med Eye in South Miami with Dr. Zachary Segal MD. This man's title is very big for him. Never in my life, at 65 years old, have I been in front of such an unpleasant doctor, with a total lack of professionalism, empathy, and respect for us patients who go with medical insurance in our hands as a payment letter. At least one as a patient expects to be treated with kindness, courtesy and respect and most importantly that the doctor explains to the patient that this is what is expected. Unfortunately, it has been a very bad experience in this office and with this Dr. He is only interested in selling products that are offered there and Cataract surgeries even if you don't need them.

Honestly if I could rate this place one star I would. I am at the South Miami location. The process is so sad and in need of a revamp. Appointment at 10:15 and it is 11:45 and I am yet to see the Dr. They DO NOT value you or your time only your money. There must be 50 people here all at the same appointment time. How is that remotely fair or appropriate? Bring a bag lunch, a cooler and a friend to grab you a coffee bc they don’t provide it. This is an ALL day endeavor. If you seriously have kids to pick up or another appointment FORGET ABOUT IT.

The medical care was excellent, I came out of the surgery without pain or discomfort, and I recovered in less than 24 hours and could see without problems. All the staff cares about your well-being. And the surgeon Harish Raja is great!!! I recommend it to anyone who needs it.
