I was a patient of Dr Evans for many many years. He retired this year and I booked an appointment to see a new Dr here. Almost 2 hours waiting in the waiting room, I decided to leave. After reading the other reviews about how they aren't respecting the patient's time, I decided better to go elsewhere. I understand waiting is necessary but over an hour or two hours is just ridiculous.

After waiting almost 2 hours past our appointment time and being seen for approximately 5 minutes by Dr. Cohen, I can without a doubt say we will never be back to this practice again. He did a regular eye exam and told her she needed stronger glasses which is not even why we came in! The doctor was rude and kept interrupting me. He didn’t want to listen to my concerns. When he finally heard what I was saying he told me my daughter was fine. Please save your time and money and find a better group. We will definitely be looking for a different ophthalmologist.

My son got hit in the eye with a nerf bullet causing blood to pool in his eye. MCOA got him in immediately with Dr. Cohen, allowing me to avoid the ER., Dr. Cohan, is straight forward & honest. My son cried after the appointment because he was scared of what Dr. Cohen said. His method of communicating was stern & blunt. Some people may have issue with his way of communicating, but I very much appreciated it. It was important for my son & I to understand the seriousness of the injury. He got his point across & we knew the importance of following his instructions. I hope I don’t have to go back for anymore emergency eye visits, but he’d be the first doctor I call if I need to. He’s an amazing physician & will save your kids eyeball. Who cares about his bedside manner?
