I have a prism, which corrects my double vision. Dr. Curl wrote a prescription that was significantly different than my current one. I let her know that I have been dealing with double vision for the last 10 years, and I was reluctant to make such a significant change. When the prescription did not work, Dr. Curl was determined that the lab, one I have been using for years with no issues, cut the lenses incorrectly. However, she said she would follow up by clearing for the lab to cut my old prescription via email. I never received this follow up. Fortunately, my old doctor, an ophthalmologist, cleared to use the old prescription after the lab confirmed that they cut the lenses in accordance with Dr. Curl's prescription. This revealed that the reading Dr. Curl took from the lenses was inaccurate. It was not that the lenses were incorrectly cut. Like many others, I am a professional adult, who is very busy. I felt that Dr. Curl was more concerned with making her prescription work, as opposed to using something that has worked for me for 10 years. I'm so glad that my current ophthalmologist, who was too busy to me right away, cleared her old prescription with a slightly higher add.
