Dr. Melody paid attention to my family history of glaucoma. She explained in detail about my eye’s pressure, myopia, and how to take care of them. She spent more than 30 minutes checking my eyes and explaining eyes condition. I felt happy and satisfied with my visit. The staff were very patient with me and helping me choose the good eyeglasses. Money well spent. Will come back.

2 yrs ago I found out this office by chance and since then my son and I have become pts here. I like Dr. Melody very much. She's friendly, approachable, and patient. Her staff are nice too especially Cassandra, the front desk girl, who is very very willling to spend so much time to help me pick out glasses and give me good advice. I don't know about other reviews saying they are money hungry and mistreating ptas but to me, they are decent. So five stars for their service and professionalism.

Buyers beware. Do yourself a huge favor: Do not go there. I had the bad fortune to get an eye exam and bought frames there, just because their store is located at such a high traffic area and convenient for visitors to Little Saigon. That's about the only good thing. The exam is cursory. Melody spent as little time with you as possible so you can spend more time shopping for frames, pushed by a fast-talking saleswoman, Tuyet. Worse, the frames took unusually long (2 weeks) compared to other places I've been to. When I came to pick up, there's no adjustment as I had experienced with other places. They did not sit you down and make sure the frame angle were seated properly so the lenses can correctly capture your field of vision. The frames are bent , crooked, too wide, but too bad, I had to adjust all that by myself. I did call to request an appointment for proper fitting by their office but they never took the call or returned my call and invited me to come back so they would fix it for me. Worse, I found out that my plan (VSP) allocated $150 for the frames but Tuyet told me they only get $125. I guess they pocketed the $25 difference.
