Planned to schedule and appointment here on 10/30 (Monday). Was called on Saturday at 3:16 for insurance verification. I was offering blue365 information but the woman on the phone seemed a little confused as to what it was as it is not traditional eye insurance. She kept putting me on hold (which is totally fine as I wanted to make sure my information was being put in correctly). I didn’t have my medical insurance information ready at the time so I told her I would call her back in a few minutes and she stated that was okay. I called back within 5-10 minutes and she told me that she wanted me to call her back on Monday as that location was now closed. I wish she would’ve told me that before I hung up the phone originally because I would’ve just given it to her before hanging up. The whole situation was just a little odd. Ended up just cancelling my appointment because I wasn’t impressed with the way that was handled by the front office coordinator.

The exam was ok, I was happy not to have the exam with puffy thing. I do feel that I was forced to get an additional exam(digital imaging )that was unnecessary. I feel hustled by it I knowingly know that I do not have any other conditions and it told me the same, I do think it should be an option unless based on chart there is one indication that I could possibly need it. If doctors from target are wanting this test done then they should check if it's covered by insurance and then offer it instead of trying to make money off of patients from an unnecessary exam.
