Yamila was so sweet, she helped me a lot in finding the perfect pair of glasses for me and was very understanding in what I wanted. I definitely recommend, they have a large selection of all types of glasses frames.

What can I say... Andrea, Yamila and Carlos were amazing. I was recommended Miami Optical Boutique by my child's ophthalmologist, and I couldn't have been happier. From the moment I stepped into the store to then returning to pick up the glasses, my family and I were treated with such kindness. We were greeted by Carlos, assisted by Andrea and on our second visit, we had the chance to meet Yamila. She made my children feel so comfortable and cared for, especially since this was the first time my oldest was going to be wearing glasses. Avoid. Evasive sales tactics and outright rudeness. Called on May 9, 2026 at 3:30 -4:00 PM with a simple, prescription-independent question: does the $20 copay under my EyeMed/Anthem plan include an Essilor-brand lens with no upgrade fee — yes or no? What I got instead: The staff member mocked me, saying I "sounded like a robot". She hung up on me mid-conversation multiple times. She falsely claimed it was "illegal" to quote anything without a prescription. This is flatly untrue. The FTC Eyeglass Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 456) governs prescription release — it requires prescribers to give patients a free copy of their prescription so they can comparison shop. There is no law anywhere that prohibits an optical shop from disclosing what brand of lens is included at a copay tier. Refusing to disclose pricing information before an exam — and citing fake "legal" reasons to do so — runs directly contrary to the pro-competition spirit of federal consumer protection law. She refused to answer the question at all, and instead repeatedly pushed a 20% "upgrade" discount — making the motive transparent: hide what the base tier covers, then upsell. When I narrowed it down further — "any Essilor product, CR-39 material" — she said she'd go check. I waited on hold for 13 minutes. She came back, said "hello?" and hung up within one second. I called back. She refused to pick up. A boutique that won't tell an insured customer what brand of lens their copay actually buys — before an exam, before any commitment — is not a boutique I trust with my prescription, my insurance, or my money. Consumers using vision benefits have a right to know what they're paying for. Hiding it behind fake "legal" excuses, personal insults, and a literal hang-up is disqualifying.

Best customer service I have ever had in Miami so far! I went to Miami Optical Boutique simply to have a look and left less than an hour after with my brand new glasses confirmed! The variety of options they have, the high quality brands, the environment..everything just reminded me the optical boutiques we have in Italy and that I missed so much since moving to Miami years ago. The owner’s expertise will welcome you immediately! Juan Carlos (the owner) is so customer oriented, caring and attentive towards the clients’ needs! He will guide you through the choice of the perfect glasses for you, giving the right advices and recommendations! On top of everything, the service was so fast! I had my glasses ready two days before the scheduled pick up! I am happy to call myself a client now and will definitely go back for my future optical needs. I don’t usually write reviews, but Miami Optical Boutique definitely deserves it. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and modern the place felt. The staff treated me like family super friendly, patient, and knowledgeable especially Yamila. I got an eye exam done and found the perfect pair of glasses that fit my style. They have a great selection of designer frames, and they even helped me pick out a pair that matched my face shape better than what I would have chosen on my own. The process was smooth, no pressure at all, and they made sure I left completely happy. Honestly, this is hands down the best optical experience I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back when it’s time for another pair!

I was recommended to this optical by my son's eye doctor, and I’m so grateful I followed through. My son is legally blind and extremely myopic. He’s also non-verbal, which makes buying glasses a real challenge. He can’t tell me if they feel right or if he can see well through them. And when something bothers him whether it’s the fit, the weight, or the clarity he breaks them. Just like that, the money and time spent are gone. His prescriptions are so complex that his glasses usually take a month to make, which only adds to the stress. When we walked into the optical, we met Juan Carlos Farias. I don’t have enough words to describe how kind, patient, and understanding he was. He took the time to sit with us, bringing out frame after frame, carefully considering my son's facial structure and his high prescription. Not all frames work for thick lenses, and with my son's condition, the wrong frame can make his eyes look tiny and distorted. Juan Carlos knew exactly what to look for and never rushed us. He treated my son with such respect and care it truly meant the world to me. The glasses were ready in just two weeks, and when my son put them on, I saw something I hadn’t seen in a long time: joy. He gave a thumbs up, his way of saying “I like this.” His caretaker told me he was proudly showing off his new glasses to everyone, smiling and giving thumbs up all day. That moment alone was worth everything. Juan Carlos is an artist in this field. He used a special technique to make the lenses significantly thinner at least 50% thinner it not more than what my son had before. The lenses are designed so the thickness isn’t concentrated on the sides, and the clarity is absolutely stunning. These glasses don’t just look good they look normal. That might sound small, but for us, it’s huge. My son’s old glasses made his eyes look like tiny dots behind thick bottles. These new ones? They’re sleek, high-end, and beautifully crafted. This place is literally so cute. They checked EVERY BOX, excellent services! Staff super friendly and attentive, knowledgeable and really listened. 10/10 highly recommend had my eye appointment (which was super thorough) and brought my mom for her the next day. I will be back every year and will find reasons to come back!
