I'm beyond greatful to Dr. Foote, David, Cindy, Ruby, Elaine, and everyone else at Sun Eye Care. To be able to see without glasses or contacts is a dream come true. They made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that they were going to do. They even helped me when I had an anxiety attack before surgery. The surgery went great, all I felt was some pressure but nothing hurt. They are so awesome and amazing I'm so glad I went with them. Thank you, you have changed my world!!

I went to Dr. Foote for an annual diabetes eye check. On top of my copay, they billed me an extra $52 for testing that my PCP didn't order and justified it by burying "consent forms" in an online check-in process that they claim allows them to do whatever testing they want, just because. Without my consent or the consent of my PCP. At the recommendation of a friend that is a nurse practitioner, I reported this office's practices to BCBS. I'm sure they appreciate paying for unnecessary testing.
I work for UTEP and have good insurance, so it was “only” $52 for that completely unnecessary exam for me. But based on what insurance you have; it could be any amount. Are you prepared to pay $104 for one doctor’s appointment where I only saw the doctor for 20 minutes despite waiting in the office for almost three hours?
No? Then, don’t go.

The same happened to me, way to much time spent in the office before I was seen. I’m out made an appointment elsewhere hopefully it’ll be different. Like someone said “ my time is worth something”. I’m out
