This was actually the second eye center I visited, due to my insurance, or so I thought. It was another optical center that referred me to Midwest Eye Consultants. Beginning to think they are affiliated with each other as they have just about the same ethics as each other. Midwest made my glasses, I did not have my eye exam with them. But, after 2 1/2 months, an extra eye exam, my glasses still were not correct. I tried to explain this to them, to which the woman helping me with my glasses wasn’t happy to hear. Her condescending tone told me so. She told me after the second adjustment they couldn’t be adjusted any further and I would just have to wear them as is. She also told me if I needed another pair, my insurance would not cover them and I would be paying out of pocket. That to which was absolutely not true, as I now have the correct pair of glasses, only took 3 days to receive them after my exam, not nearly 3 months. I did go to another optical center to which I wish I had only gone to them first as I wouldn’t have initially waited six months to receive a pair of glasses.

Definitely not a good experience with Midwest Eye Consultants me & my grandson had a eye appointment June 19th they said they took his eye insurance when I made the appointment , when we arrived for the appointment I was told they didn’t take it so I pay the $96 from the eye exam which lasted all of about 38 seconds. I ordered my glasses June 19th & still have not received them August 28th . And forget about calling there they never ever answer their phones at the Laskey Road location. The eye doctor herself was very nice but the front end people are rude and act like you are definitely bothering them . Definitely don’t recommend!!

They're still sending me bills after going up here and them saying I shouldn't have a bill it's a mistake because I never received the contacts due to me getting cheaper contacts do my insurance would cover it. They said just ignore the bill as if it won't go on my credit report...... crazy. The lady said she had to contact the company the sends or make them, so the bill can be taken away but here I am November 2023 still receiving a bill and this happened in March or April of 2023.
