As a member of the medical community in Bloomington, I was appalled at the atrocious service today at Dr Carver’s office. I had called to make an appointment for my 7 year old daughter and I confirmed over the phone that there is no change in our health insurance. When I checked my daughter in the office today, they told me her exam is not due and everything will be out of pocket. When I asked for clarification whether they typically check if the annual exam is due, I was given a very rude and impolite response. I have met Dr Carver once before, this is not regarding her direct care but of the folks up front.

Staff is friendly. Doctor made sure I understood everything about the results.

Checking in was a breeze worked with 3 people on my visit the 1st checked me in an did some paperwork an some tests very pleased an she new what she was doing 5 stars 2nd was the Doctor who was very professional felt like family with her 5 stars 3rd was a guy who knew so much about about the frames/ Insurance very professional 5 stars for him. Dr. Carver is the most professional, friendly optometrist we have ever had the privilege of visiting. She is very easy to talk to and ask questions.

I got a piece of rust in my eye while working under a truck on a Sunday. They were the only one's open and I figured it was better to go to an actual eye Dr. than to the ER. It was a scary experience because I have an eye thing from watching too many sci-fi movies anyhow, but Melanie was able to successfully remove the foreign object, get me bandaged up with a special contact and a few weeks later I was all healed and good to go again. I'm terrified of petite women in lab-coats now and I certainly don't recommend foreign objects in your eye, but if you find yourself in such a unique pickle, well this is the place to go to get it all sorted out. I would be hard pressed to trust my eyes to anyone else after my overall experience with them.

Really bad customer service at the front desk.

I was shopping at the mall a week ago earlier and as I was leaving I just stop in and ask about my new insurance that just came in effect and yes they accepted so the lady was so nice she let me pick out my glasses and she made me a appointment for Saturday the 15, I was so happy with the time since I work nights Monday thur Fridays so when I arrive every one was so friendly and the dr on call for that day was very knowledgeable with my eyes and done a very good job can’t wait for my new glasses to arrive thank you Lens crafters your the best
