Dr. Miller is a wonderful doctor. He has been my parents doctor until their death and our family doctor for more than 40 years plus. He truly cares about you. I would recommend him to anyone looking for eye care.

Dr. Miller is one of the most thoughtful, caring doctors that I’ve been treated by. He spends time truly listening to you and explains what he is doing and his recommendations thoroughly.

My 95-Year-old father was recently treated by Dr. John P. Miller for a simple eye exam for his Driver's license renewal. Dr. Miller made a personal and very slanderous comment to my father that anyone over the age of 90 should NOT be driving. This statement was very age discriminating not to mention was totally with-out any qualifying physical evidence nor is he qualified to make that diagnosis. Simply for reason of age. After passing the eye exam, Mr. Miller informed my father that he would not submit his passing exam report to the MVA without his primary physician's letter. He then took it upon himself to call his doctor and insist that (due to Dr. Miller's concerns and personal biases) that his doctor suggests that my father to be tested before granting him his renewed driver's license. He took his doctor's email that stated: My patient drives frequently to all of his appointments and manages his medical care adequately. However, a driving test would not hurt. Mr. Miller then took it upon himself to Underline the last statement and sent it into the MVA. The personal biases of Mr. Miller and the discrimination of the elderly caused the MVA to immediately restrict my father's license to not permit him to drive until a full medical evaluation & behind the wheel tests be performed by a licensed Occupational Driving school (which costs over $600). in addition, its costs it took over 3 months of gathering questionnaires, visiting several different, doctors, and payments. My Father was able to pass these tests very well and seemed to be a waste of time and money just because of Mr. Miller's Biases opinion. I would like to visit Mr. Miller on his 90th Birthday so that I can watch him turn in his driver's license. If you are thinking of or if you are already an elderly patient of John P. Miller, I suggest that you FIND ANOTHER EYE DOCTOR to treat you, because he has only shown me that he has a personal discriminating opinion of the elderly. STAY AWAY.....

Dr. Miller is an exceptional person and ophthalmologist. He is very attentive and he is gentle with you. He answers all your questions and he inquires about your eyesight and your general health concerns. I will always choose Dr. Miller because he genuinely cares about you and your eyes.
