Rude terrible would not recommend

I have been going to My Optical ever since I first needed glasses as a 12 year old. The doctor is very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for your health and well being. The office staff is very helpful and make themselves available to you. I highly recommend anyone to get their eye care needs here.

What a disappointment in service and pricing. I found out that there are many other opticals in Bayside (Bell Blvd) and Flushing that accept vision insurance and offer BETTER pricing and excellent customer service. The staff here are rude and not knowledgeable regarding products. Tried on glasses that were clearly “used,worn”.

Came here to service Chanel shades. Over the phone they said it would be no problem. Soon as I walked in, it was a no! Didn’t even take a look at the glasses or touch them. Smh, giving very much racist.

This store is so unsettling that I wonder why it's still going out of business. The worst kind of rudeness, the worst insurance scam targeting seniors. This kind of optical store should have gone out of business long ago, so that New York State and New York City could have peace. I've had three pairs of glasses here ($450, $300, and $700), but this is the first time I've seen a store that hurts customers so much. This is the worst optical store, so bad I'd beat up the owner to make up for it. This is the optical store I want to chase down and tell every senior in New York City to never visit. I have no choice but to give it one star, but I don't want to give it even one.

After moving, my regular optometrist is a bit out of the way for me so I stopped by to find out their price for replacement lenses. They were reluctant to give me a straight answer and took down my personal information and dosage and then asked for a deposit, still never telling me what their price is. It felt like pulling teeth to get a simple question answered. $120 for replacement polycarbonate lenses- seems a tad bit unreasonable to me. I ended up just going back to my regular optometrist and getting replacements for free. Beware!

I was looking for a friendly, honest optical doctor and eye glass store. And that's exactly what I found! I am new to wearing glasses (for reading) but I wanted to make them progressive, transitional. The associate and the doctor took their time answering my questions and assiting me pick out frames that we best suited to fit my face. I'm very happy. I would recommend this company to family and friends..... even acquaintances..

I have been going to MY Optical for 5 years now. It's convenient, quick, and my eyes are getting excellent care.

Dont know why theres so many bad reviews but ive been coming here for over a decade since i was in middle school and theyve always been great! It can get busy at times but ive never had trouble getting checked and prescriptions

Extremely RUDE staff All of them. All the ladies in this practice needs customer service classes to learn to treat everyone equally and give prioritization to the customer and not the paperwork. I was standing in the burning office and instead of taking care of me this lady decided to finish her paperwork and sort out the things. Ridiculous and so unprofessional will never give business to you ever again!!! I would rather spend my money where i will have good customer service
