This location doesn’t accept Medicaid for children, despite their website stating, “WE ACCEPT ALL INSURANCE.” When I check my insurance, it says, “Good news! MyEyeDr. welcomes MEDICAID patients.” However, it also states, “MEDICAID IS NOT ACCEPTED AT ALL MyEyeDr. locations ONLY ‘certain locations.’” As a company, why not accept all insurances? Put more money into deceptive advertising than helping people of the world. Why is one location different from the others? Why must our future, the children, suffer because of companies’ greed? How will these children survive without a pediatric eye doctor? My child has been needing glasses for almost three years, and I’ve been unable to find a “Local” less than ~ 15 miles pediatric eye doctor who accepts our insurance. Even North Carolina Health and Human Services Department does not offer pediatric eye care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently visited and had an excellent experience thanks to Chloe. She was welcoming, pleasant, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. Chloe was the only staff member we interacted with, and she made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. Five stars for Chloe!

I had not been to an optometrist in nearly a decade and a half thanks to some less than stellar past experiences and a healthy fear of discovering that my already terrible vision had somehow gotten even worse. As someone who is basically blind as a bat without corrective lenses, eye appointments were not exactly on my list of favorite activities. Thankfully, a friend convinced me it was time to get my eyes checked, and wow, am I glad I listened. From the moment I walked into the Knightdale MyEyeDr office, I was greeted by a friendly, professional front desk team that immediately put me at ease. Check in was quick, comfortable, and surprisingly painless. Before I knew it, I was called back for my preliminary exam. The technician who assisted me was fantastic. He was professional, personable, funny, and easy to talk to. What could have been an awkward or stressful experience felt more like chatting with a knowledgeable friend who happened to be checking my vision. Before I knew it, the photos were taken, my eye pressures were checked, and I was on my way to the final boss level of the appointment: the exam room. At this point, I was without contacts and operating almost entirely on faith. Shapes were blurry, details were nonexistent, and I was essentially navigating life in low resolution. Then I heard a calm, reassuring voice say, “Look toward the light.” Enter Dr. Foo. The exam was efficient, thorough, and incredibly informative. Dr. Foo is an outstanding clinician who takes the time to involve patients in the decision making process. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, provided clear clinical reasoning behind her recommendations, and made me feel like an active participant in my own care rather than just another appointment on the schedule. What impressed me most was how comfortable and relaxed the entire experience felt. After avoiding eye doctors for nearly fifteen years, I can honestly say that Dr. Foo completely changed my perspective. For the first time in a very long time, I am no longer afraid of visiting the eye doctor. In this case, MyEyeDr. After conquering the final boss, I was escorted to checkout where the experience continued to impress. The consultant was thorough, patient, and clearly dedicated to making sure every detail was handled correctly. Insurance paperwork was reviewed carefully, everything was explained clearly, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. The attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care demonstrated by every member of the team was exceptional. I sincerely wish more healthcare facilities operated at this level. MyEyeDr has earned a customer for life. If you have been putting off an eye exam because of bad experiences, anxiety, or simply because life got in the way, take it from someone who waited almost fifteen years: make the appointment. Your eyes will thank you, and the team at MyEyeDr will take great care of you.

On this visit I was greeted right away and the person at the front desk was very friendly. The doctor was great but most of all Kristen was awesome in helping me with Lens selection. Thanks. Ok, a little edit here. Don’t count on getting your lenses when promised, my date was to receive my glasses on 17th now it’s going to be 10 days later.

Kristen was wonderful! Very attentive to detail and worked with me to get me glasses as soon as possible as I was going to be out of town for 3 months. Excellent service!!

My experience at MY EYE DR was amazing. Everyone was so nice, professional and willing to take time to answer questions and make my eye appointment comfortable!!!
