I'm not usually the type to leave bad reviews, however my experience today was terrible. I arrived to my appointment about 10mins early, which was scheduled at 10am. I was greeted and when I approached the desk, I told the young lady with glasses that I have an appointment at 10am. She explained to me that I have to pay $100-$180 out of pocket for my contact exam, and that my insurance only covers an allowance towards contacts, or only covers a regular eyeglass exam. I explained to her that doesn't sounds right because I came last year and my insurance picked up the exam and contacts purchased. She told me that nothing has changed since last year and quickly handed me a clipboard asking for my signatures. It was 9:55am at that point. I told her "let me call my provider real quick and get some clarity". She told me "well the doctor won't see you after 10am", after demanding for my signatures a second time. I told her "then cancel my appointment and have a blessed day". After a discussion with my insurance about my coverage and my previous appointment from the year before, nothing has changed and the exam is covered. I then got a list of other offices and I scheduled an appointment with another office. I recommend you train your front desk people a bit better and have better customer service as well. I will no longer recommend this office to anyone.

****FINAL UPDATE 10/24/23 - DO NOT GO HERE!!! This business is a complete joke and unorganized. After trying to give them the benefit of the doubt assuming they may have been converting systems for online appointments etc that were possibly not coinciding with the in store office, I’ve been contacted only to now be told they do not accept our insurance ALTHOUGH it was given/uploaded over a month ago when I initially scheduled. The fact I’ve had to waste over a month for these appointments only to now have to look for another eye doctor is just absurd. DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!! I WOULD GIVE NO STARS FOR MY FINAL REVIEW. ****UPDATE 10/18/23 - I was contacted by a Customer Solution Representative whom was very pleasant. I explained to her the issue we had for our scheduled appointment, as well as provided the screenshot of our confirmed appointment text received by their systems for our appointment the day prior. She was able to document this to forward to their I.T. Team & hopefully they are able to resolve the system issue that is not properly corresponding correctly. She was also able to offer our account a credit for both accounts on our upcoming appointments. I do appreciate that they heard our concern & wanting to empathize with us for the inconvenience that is definitely a plus & I have raised my 1star to 2stars. Hopefully a better star rating can be given upon our upcoming appointment experience. **** Looked forward to two of my kids going to this eye doctor that we scheduled appointments for weeks ago… UNTIL we arrived prior to our appointment time only to be told they canceled both of their appointments because they did not get verbal confirmation that we were were still coming when they tried calling our number on file. I even showed that I had received text confirmation the day prior to our appointment date confirming our appointment, but still now they had to reschedule another two weeks from now SMH Not to mention we were not greeted by anyone after walking in or as we stood there until a few minutes later when I walked to another counter, that receptionist who assisted us was very pleasant & even stated herself she is not sure why some of their systems are outdated & not helpful she apologized for the inconvenience which was the only good experience we had out of going so far - other than that - this was not a pleasant first time experience unfortunately.

Not sure what the bad reviews were, My experience was great. Front staff was super friendly. Appointment was verified and kept. Was seen on time. Test was easy. Doctor Marshall was knowledgable. I did not get all details on my test results, but I don't think that really matters, I was told what I was experiencing without all the extra stuff in terms I probably wouldn't understand anyway. The doctor was great, very professional and efficient. Was sent to pick out glasses, she was also helpful and friendly. No problems whatsoever. Was given a time frame for my glasses to be ready and that was that.
