Every time we have been to this location our experience has not been good. From the rude Lady that was a Tech being smart with me and kept cutting me off to the glasses we ordered being told twice different times they were expected. Now we're going on 3 weeks and they still haven't arrived. And NOBODY has contacted us via email or phone to let us know of the delay. The lack of communication, and the way they treat their customers needs improvement.

Dr Bickel was very good but when glasses came in i was disappointed in the lack of care given to the fitting. the technician didn’t realise the lenses were progressive and i just would have appreciated a more professional approach

Dr, Bickel and her staff are outstanding, I drive from out of state to see her and would not trust anyone else with my families eye care. They are always friendly, kind, and more than willing to help with whatever concern arises. Her assistant Tori goes out of her way to make both of my boys feel comfortable. Dr. Bickel is very knowledgable and has caught issues that other doctors have missed. The office staff is always well prepared and makes check in/out very easy and they go out of their way to answer any questions we have regarding insurance or ordering contacts or glasses. I have never had a negative encounter when I have been in the office or had to call in. This is why I continue to travel several hours to this office, it is well worth the peace of mind I feel after the exams knowing my family has had the best care by a great doctor, her assistant, and staff.

My Eye Doctor at Olio is AMAZING! Dr. Karen is truly a ROCKSTAR! And it is obvious her staff loves her because they have been with her for as long as I remember. They are also spectacular! My husband and I drive over 25 miles just to see these great folks!

I have been coming to MyEyeDr for several years. My most recent visit was for my two daughters. Jake quickly greeted us with a smile and was very helpful getting us checked in and providing insurance coverage information. Tori also greeted us and is always so friendly and personable. Dr. Bickel always spends time providing information and answering any questions we have. She’s very thorough and personable. You can tell she cares about her patients. Danielle was very helpful ordering contacts and helping us determine the best use of our insurance benefits. I highly recommend MyEyeDr!

Scheduled an appointment for right eye pain. Spoke to the office twice because the first time I was disconnected. My appointment was for 2:20 pm and I was told to bring my medical card due to nature of the visit. Went to appointment and was turned away because doctor wasn’t credentialed to take insurance, despite website saying “We welcome all insurance.” I asked to pay out of pocket and the receptionist had to ask a gentleman beside her what that would be. He didn’t look at me but said it could be “$95 to way north of that.” I asked what my options were because my primary care Dr said I had to go to ER if not seen today. They suggested an appointment to another office that was for 2:40 pm and was a 30 minute drive. They had no other solutions. I can understand that there is only so much that can be done when it comes to insurance, but maybe figure that out before having someone with an urgent need wait all day just to cancel their appointment. And if someone is offering to pay out of pocket despite this, maybe be willing to set that up or at minimum speak to them instead of looking down and pretending they’re not there. Will never come back here.
