I love the care I receive from Dr. Garr. She has been the best part of my care team for as long as I’ve lived in DC. She’s friendly, patient, kind, and she always makes me feel like she’s listening. Everyone in the office takes incredible care to make sure that my experience is a positive one. This includes the front desk staff and office administrators, some who I have known for years.

They were very good and have a wide selection of eye glasses. My optometrist is thorough taking care of my vision needs. The staff is also very responsive on the phone and in person. Alex at G street DC location handled all my change in insurance coverage and was so nice to recommend another store Fender Mender for me to have eyeglass repaired that they could not do. Very nice location near the metro and Whit House.

Professional and welcoming staff. I’ve been trusting my eye care here over 15 years. Dr. Garr is a pleasure to work with. She’s knowledgeable and explains in details throughout the exam. I trust that she cares about my eyes and takes her time to answer all questions. I really appreciate her feedback. She remembers her patients which is a plus.

The team at this MyEyeDr location is fantastic. High praise for Dr. Garr, Rex and Sylvia, and all the technicians who take great care of their patients. I’ve been going to this location for more than a decade because of the thorough services provided by the friendly and knowledgeable staff dedicated to protecting the health of my eyes and ensuring my good vision. I trust their work completely. I also appreciate their flexibility and accommodation to adjust appointments (with a smile) while working around my busy schedule. If you’re in downtown DC (even if not… I come over from Virginia) the folks at 1776 G Street are THE ones to see.

In DC for work. Dropped my glasses on the street Friday afternoon. They were able to make me a replacement stat to help me see enough to get me over the weekend and Monday, Truly life savers! Rex is the man!

I love this place! Everyone is so nice. They Have state of the art machines and a great selection of eyeglasses. Dr. Fraire is awesome, Rex is wonderful and Eymis is so nice. Love this place!
