Although I confirmed my appointment online days prior to the appointment and also left a voicemail to confirm it, they canceled my appointment without alerting me to the fact. I showed up at my scheduled time and was told I didn't confirm my appointment (even though I did - twice). When I asked why/how this happened, the only answer I got was "that's how the system works". Even though this is not a suitable explanation, why was I not alerted to my appointment being cancelled? I have children and it is not easy for me to attend appointments. Of the two receptionists, the one that was helping me was apologetic, but the other one was incredibly disrespectful, rude, and kept interjecting with condescending remarks, making me feel as if this was somehow my fault. I won't be back to this location or any other ones owned by them.

THIS IS MY SECOND HORRIBLE ENCOUNTER WITH MANCHESTER, NH LOCATION. ON SATURDAY, 9/16/2023, I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE STATING THAT MY EYEGLASSES, THAT I DID NOT ORDER, ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP. I CALLED MONDAY, 9/18/2023, AND SPOKE WITH RECEPTIONIST COLLEEN. I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I DID NOT ORDER EYEGLASSES, I DID NOT LIKE ANY OF THE EYEGLASSES THAT WERE FOR SALE, AND I DID NOT GIVE ANYONE PERMISSION TO BILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR EYEGLASSES THAT WERE NOT PICKED OUT BY ME. HOW ARE EYEGLASSES CHOSEN AND THE CUSTOMER'S FACE WAS NEVER MEASURED TO THE EYEGLASSES? I WILL IMMEDIATELY CONTACT MY INSURANCE COMPANY ABOUT THE FRAUDULENT ORDERING OF EYEGLASSES. DURING MY FIRST APPOINTMENT, I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THE MALE EMPLOYEE (W/ A BEARD) WHO WORKED IN THE EYEGLASSES AREA THAT THE EYEGLASSES WERE UGLY AND WOULD NOT BE PURCHASED. STILL NOT INTERESTED, HE KEPT BEGGING ME TO PURCHASE EYEGLASSES. I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND ANY MORE MONEY AT THIS FACILITY BECAUSE THEY HAVE A VERY DECEPTIVE WAY OF GETTING YOU TO PAY $44.00 FOR EYE PICTURES AND YOUR INSURANCE DOES NOT PAY FOR THAT EXAM. WHILE STILL ON THE PHONE WITH COLLEEN, I EXPLAINED TO HER, DURING MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WHEN SHE HANDED ME THE NEW CUSTOMER PACKET, WHY DIDN'T SHE EXPLAIN THE $44.00 PROPERLY. WHY DOES COLLEEN ADVISE THAT YOU SIGN EACH FORM AND SURPRISE YOU AT THE END OF YOUR VISIT TO PAY THE BALANCE OF $44.00. WHY DO ALL THE EMPLOYEES START SMILING WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS ARE CONFUSED OVER THE $44.00. WELL, COLLEENS REPLIED BY SAYING, "DO YOU KNOW HOW TO READ?" WELL THAT WAS VERY RUDE AND OUT OF CONTEXT. I CAN SAY ONE THING COLLEEN NEEDS TO IMPROVE HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. SHE DOES HER JOB WELL WHICH REQUIRES HER TO LOOK OUT THE WINDOW AT THE BIRDS RATHER THAN HELP SATISFY NEW CUSTOMERS' QUESTIONS. IT'S NOT COOL TO TRAP CUSTOMERS WITH A BILL. THIS COMPANY, MYEYEDR DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT THEY LOST A FAMILY OF FOUR. WE WILL NOT RETURN! PEOPLE WANT TO GO TO A CARING AND HONEST DOCTOR'S OFFICE. ALL I ASK, PLEASE DO NOT TEXT OR CALL ME AND MY FAMILY AND I PROMISE WE WILL NOT CALL FOR ANY YEARLY FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS.

I just want to say Colleen is absolutely amazing ! Every time I come she is always so pleasant & helpful. I don’t go to any other place :)
