THE positive I can give is that they were able to order the contacts I need. Now for the rest. I booked an initial appointment online for 3:30 pm. The day before this I got a voicemail stating this would be a virtual exam but a tech would be there the whole time. I was fine with that. I arrived at 2:30 and was given papers to fill out, including one that said there would be an additional $39.00 charge because there was no doc there and would have to dialate my eyes. I asked if this waa required and was told yes. Reluctantly I agreed. At 4:15 I asked how much longer I would have to wait and was told they would be ready for me "shortly". I asked how long the appointment would take and was told it would take a bit longer than normal since we'd have to go back and forth with the doc virtually. I rescheduled for two weeks later when a doctor would be present. Two weeks later: I arrived at 2:50 for my 3:00 appointment and filled out same paper work. I opted out of the$39.00 fee, and then find it I did NOT have to get my eyes dilated, just sign a form to opt out. The doc came in, made zero adjustments to my previous rx, then brought me a trial pair of contacts to use while mine got ordered. He spent about 3 minutes looking in my eyes with his little eye thing and that was that. I went out to pay and the fella told me they were going to be $100 per box. I told him no thanks; they have them at 1 800 contacts for $80. He said, "well I can apply $160 from your insurance towards that. I said okay. He then presented me the total bill, which included the $15 fee initially discussed, ALONG WITH a $60. "contact exam fee" that is not covered by insurance. I questioned this and he said it is a billing code they have to use for the "contact fitting." I told him nobody fit my contacts - I put them on myself! Turns out that little 3 minutes peek the doc took cost $60! I asked exactly what the $15 exam fee covered and he said that was for the genealogy exam that determines the health of my eyes. Over all I'm pretty pissed. I feel extremely mislead, and a bit gypped. I have to have contacts to be able to see. These places know this and know you can't get them with seeing an eye doctor. I should probably count my blessings they don't go after even more! I'll definitely be looking elsewhere next year!

My experience here was wonderful. The doctor explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He even explained to me how he knew Ihad allergies. When it was time to look at glasses and lenses i met Kim and Mary. They were very helpful when it came to picking out frames. They let me know what did and didn't look good on my face, which I love! I would definitely recommend coming here for eye exams and glasses. They staff is very friendly and you can tell they love their job!! AMAZING PEOPLE!!
