I decided to bring my eyeglass prescription from another optometrist to myeyeDr located on 3625 Rigby Rd. for filling. After returning to the store for fitting, it became apparent that something was wrong with my glasses. They were distorted from every angle, making it difficult to see clearly. Even reading or looking at things from the corner of my eye was a challenge. The opticians took my glasses to another room and attempted to fix them. However, their efforts only made things worse. They ended up bending the back pad arms behind the frame, causing irritation on my nose. When I took off my glasses, I realized what they had done. The optician made excuses, blaming my prescription and suggesting I go back to my eye doctor. Frustrated, I followed their advice and went back to my eye doctor. To my surprise, their optician said there was nothing wrong with my prescription. Feeling confused, I returned to myeyeDr. and was served by the same optician. Once again, she tried to fix my glasses by bending the bridge. However, this only made the distortion worse and the fit became unbearable. I could only read if I held my head back, which was impractical. There were several issues with my experience at myeyeDr. Firstly, the lenses were not correct according to my prescription. Secondly, the optician ruined the frame by over-adjusting it, causing more problems with the pad arms. I decided to return my glasses and requested a full refund, which they provided. However, the attitude of the manager was unprofessional and left a sour taste in my mouth. What bothered me the most was witnessing the optician's reckless behavior and denial of her mistakes. Additionally, I was disappointed that myeyeDr. made me go back to my eye doctor, only to be told there was nothing wrong with my prescription. It left me questioning the professionalism of the staff. In the end, myeyeDr. did give me a full refund, but the whole experience left me wondering about the state of customer service in America. Two stars for having the frames I wanted. Added to response: 8-23-23, 11:50 Eastern Simone, I've made several sincere efforts to get back to you, but every time I tried, your phone was persistently engaged. Moreover, I usually refrain from answering calls that don't display proper caller identification, as my phone is equipped with a call filtering feature. However, I assure you that I will make another attempt to reach out to you and establish communication.

Came in for contacts, been wearing glasses for over a decade and have never had contacts. Wasn’t sure of the process of steps to get contacts and I asked about payment first but received a lengthy explanation that was fairly confusing and jumbled. I eventually figured out what the steps were at the very end but it would have been nice if someone at could have walked me through the steps from the get go. I also have to reschedule to get my contacts fitted, which I didn’t know was a thing until the end (would have been nice if this was explained to me first, as I did tell multiple people I’ve never had contacts and didn’t know anything about the process of receiving them). I was told that me asking questions was the reason I had to reschedule because I took too long trying to figure out how everything worked.… so I was blamed for the rescheduled fitting which felt pretty awful. Not a very great experience so far, still have to go back to get my contacts fitted so I will update this review after I hopefully receive contacts. Update: cancelled my fitting and went to Costco, 1000x better
