I won't be coming back again. This place saw I was a young patient they could easily fool and take advantage of from a sales point and I didn't receive a thorough proper exam. When I first walked into the front desk, I wasn't greeted or welcomed. The front desk's first impressions made me feel cold. I noticed the staff and doctors lack patience. Before the assistant conducted my overall eye health, she said my insurance didn't cover the eye check and it would cost me $45. I told her it did and asked her if she could double-check. She immediately said no and didn't bother to go back and check again. When I said I was fine not doing the eye health exam, she gave me a judgmental look and guilt-tripped me into paying the $45 dollars and doing the eye exam. My parents had their eye exams the same day as me and I am on their eye insurance plan. The place did not charge them $45 for the eye exam health and I had to call them for a reimbursement which should not have happened if they assistant checked when I requested in the first place! The doctor was good, but I felt she rushed through my exam because I felt my prescription was weak, but she left and saw another patient before I could address the issue. I felt the staff were rushing and lacked patience. This place is corporate. If you are in your teens, do not go without an adult because they will take advantage of you. I went to get contacts for the first time and I am stuck, have wasted $400 on contacts I do not use because the prescription is weak and the sales manager did not give me the option of a one-week trial of contacts. He nudged me into getting the most expensive year's supply of contacts. If I had the trial, I wouldn't have bought the year's supply. As someone who was very new to contacts, I did not know there was a trial and was confused. They were very pushy and did not explain properly about the different types of contacts and felt overwhelmed. This place used to be a great place to get your glasses checked and offer refreshments. Now they are a corporate sales-driven practice and care about money over your health. I'm never coming back and going back to my other optometrist.

My daughter’s contact order came in 2 Different brands. She was to have Precision 1 for both eyes. This mistake belong on whoever entered the prescription. Sadly I was asked to pay the price difference in the brand instead of customer service stepping up to cover the cost of their mistake. Love Dr Way, just not the business side.
