I saw Dr. Boyd here on 9/5 and the contact exam was fine, a perfectly normal exam. The price was $84 which I paid. I hadn’t ever just gotten an exam, as I usually purchased products as well, so I assumed this was the price of the exam. Then several days later I received my EOB from the insurance company and it detailed that I was only supposed to pay $40 and nothing more. After attempting to contact the office for days with no response, I spoke with billing who said I had a retinal scan done for $44. At no point in time did I consent to the scan, I never signed a paper and never asked for one. I have continuously attempted to get this solved to no avail. They also charged this to me without using my insurance, as my insurance covers a portion of this procedure. That is fraud, plain and simple. I am still awaiting a solution to this mess, but would recommend avoiding this place.

Mason helped me with a $700 order on glasses and sunglasses. He is very patient especially with someone like me who is very particular. Mrs. Betty at front desk is so sweet and she is very welcoming. I drive from Apex to come here because they all are just that good.

Took my daughter here for her second annual checkup. First experience was great she got glasses. The woman worked with her to pick out her first pair of glasses & was so helpful. Today, Donnie fitted her for contacts & was amazing. He was a cheerleader even when my teen girl had a little breakdown. He taught her how to put them in & take them back out. He was amazing. Even the doctor was great. So far I can’t say enough nice things about the employees I’ve worked with here.
