Great service every time! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Morabito for years, and have always had a great experience. Everyone is very friendly, facilities are clean, and every visit is easy and efficient!

I was frustrated with my first-time experience, a simple annual eye exam. Nearly all of the staff were friendly and upfront about experiencing serious computer issues the day of my appointment which I appreciated. Dr. Morabito immediately criticized my old prescription as being too strong. I told him I see perfectly with those glasses, but trusted his opinion. During my exam, he frequently provided opposing feedback when I said various lenses made my vision better/worse. He wrote my new prescription by hand due to the computer issues and the person at the front desk transcribed it into a digital prescription. At home, I compared the prescription to my two most recent prescriptions (which still were correcting my vision, and which were both the same despite being written from two different doctors at two different practices) and those prescriptions were considerably different from the one Dr. Morabito wrote for me. I even called myeyedr to discuss how different this prescription was from my two successful previous ones to ensure that there wasn’t a mistake during their transcription. They pleasantly assured me that it was correct. After confirming, I placed my order with a very popular, highly reputable, online retailer I’ve used for my last four pairs of glasses (and have had great experiences and perfect prescription lenses with) because the selection in the myeyedr store was so expensive. My online retailer's glasses arrived and I immediately knew the prescription was incorrect. My vision was worse when wearing the glasses, I got nauseous, and experienced headaches–something I’ve never experienced with a new pair of glasses. However, based on internet advice I continued to wear the glasses in hopes of adjustment for the next several days, but my vision never felt corrected. This prescription had to be incorrect. Mistakes happen, so I was frustrated that my previous concerns turned out to be true, I still was understanding of the situation. I called myeyedr again a week after my initial exam to explain what happened and a different, also kind, person at the front desk told me to come in that morning. She tested the glasses immediately, and said they were an exact match of the prescription Dr. Morabito wrote, adding that the online retailer "did a good job". When Dr. Morabito came to talk to me, he wasn’t outwardly rude, but he was curt and defensive of the situation–never issuing any semblance of an apology. He immediately deflected blame onto the online retailer, saying that it was a ‘problem’ that I ordered them online. It is fully within my right as a customer/patient to simply get an eye exam at the optometrist but buy my glasses from a much less expensive, very reputable and popular, online retailer that has only ever given me great service and correct lenses. Dr. Morabito was condescending and indifferent when I explained that I lost money based on the incorrect prescription that he wrote for me. He ran me through an expedited basic eye exam on the spot which they obviously did not charge me for. He ultimately wrote a new prescription that was nearly identical to my previous two correct ones. No information had changed between my first and second myeyedr appointment. There was no offer to rectify the situation–only the new prescription/free eye exam. I explained that I paid exactly $316.94 for glasses with the initial, incorrect prescription that he gave me. And he said there's nothing they can do having not bought the glasses at myeyedr (I understand, to an extent). One of the kinder employees said they could maybe provide me with 40% off of a pair in their store if I couldn't get the situation sorted out with the retailers that I bought my glasses from. I'm hoping to get a refund from the online retailer. But I’m now without glasses for longer and at risk of being without them in time for an upcoming trip. I'm extremely dissatisfied and frustrated by the amount of time and money I wasted at myeyedr. I don’t like leaving a negative review but am willing to do so to hopefully help others make informed choices.

Edited 2/17/23: My original appointment was 12/30/22. I ordered glasses and was told they would be ready in 7-10 days. When the doctor told me that these glasses could/should help with the chronic migraines I’ve been fighting most of my life, I was very optimistic. As of today, I still do not have my glasses. I have had to call/email at least 10 times and have yet to be provided with an estimated date of arrival. After the first few weeks, I was told that they were lost, a replacement was ordered, but they weren’t given a promissory date. This was 3 weeks ago. I am completely displeased with the lack of client care and communication. Being someone who has worked in customer service in every aspect, I have no idea how this place has stayed in business. My initial appointment was pretty wonderful as you can tell from my original review below, but every interaction since has just been increasingly frustrating. 12/30/22: Amazing experience! From the front desk staff, the amazing nurse, the doctor and finally the wonderful woman that helped me pick out my glasses, everyone was exceptional. Highly recommend this practice for all of your eye care needs!
