I was prescribe a years worth of contacts that I used my insurance for and after two months they are not correct for my eyes. I went back to the office and Dr. Balda gave me two different brands of trial contacts to try to see which ones were better. After two weeks of trials I went in to exchange my unopened boxes for new contacts. The office staff was so rude and only offered me $16 for one box which I paid $65 for and I had 4 boxes to trade in. My insurance paid the Dr office for the contacts already but she said I only paid 65 for 4 boxes which is incorrect. She was not willing to budge and was so rude. I then called back and asked for Dr. Balda to call me back. After two days I called my insurance company and they told me I was entitled a restoration of my benefits. I called the Dr office again and requested a call from the doctor which I didn’t get. I called Thursday and Friday and requested a call which I never received. I then asked h just for the prescription so I could at least buy new contacts. 2.5 weeks later and I still haven’t received a call back or my prescription. I called today and the office staff answered and she claimed she didn’t know about anything and didn’t know why Dr. Balda hasn’t called back. All I want is my prescription. I filed a complaint with the attorney general’s offices on My eye Dr and Dr. Balda and the office staff. I do NOT recommend this office. They treat their patients horrible. A year ago the office staff refused to talk to my insurance company for me because of a different issue. She is the problem of that office and should not interacting with patients because she is horrible. I really liked Dr. Balda also but he has lost three patients because of the office staff and her lack of competence.

Entire staff was so friendly and kind to my 5 year old (there for Kindergarten screening). Very professional and thorough while keeping it pleasant for my child. A great experience all around, would highly recommend.

Had a great experience- Dr Amela had such a great manner- professional but still kind. I had someone assisting me from the moment I walked in - price checked my contacts to make sure I had the best price and had many selections for glasses.
