Had an appointment, ordered contacts Oct 10, 2023 should of been back in 2 weeks well I waited here it is now 11/11/2023 I went into the office to find out about the delay because I did not receive no courtesy call or email concerning the delay. I spoke to Ms Rose she stated it’s “distribution” okay so I asked her “is there someone that does the follow up in the office and I gave an example she said they would not know unless the distributor lets them know? I been coming to Schaffer/myeyedooctor for years tired of the lack of growing customer service! I will will add that Ms Rose did offer me a pack of sample contacts which has in RED NOT FOR SALE I did not want the sample because I know those are not manufactured/sturdy as the ones you actually pay for so I declined. Unhappy Customer

I decided to try MyEyeDr out for my annual eye exam (that I was overdue of) since it was right down the street from my workplace. I saw a promotion online for the exam and glasses for $199. I made an appointment for the same week with Dr. Gregory. The day of my appointment, I was seen in a timely manner. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and Dr. Gregory was very helpful in explaining the exam findings to me. I have a very strong prescription but they did not make me feel bad about it as other eye facilities have done in the past. Dr. Gregory even explained the type of frames I should stay away from due to my prescription. Of course, with my lens enhancements, the total was more than double the $199 price tag but the lady that was assisting me at that point was able to find additional savings to help with the cost. Also, they charge separate for the retraction part of the exam and for the screening photos of the back of your eye. I’m not sure if that’s because I am a new patient or if this is procedure. The good news is that my glasses were promised two weeks after my exam, but actually arrived in 8 days. On pickup, I received a case, lens cleaner and two microfiber cloths. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here and especially liked Dr. Gregory professionalism and friendliness. Minus one star for the cost and that I tried several times to call to inquiry about my prescription and could never reach anyone for days.

I have been a customer for years and today I have never felt so cared-less for. Due to associate error of inputting information I was turned away without anyone taking responsibility and trying to accommodate me regardless of my situation or need to be seen for eye care. I am VERY disappointed as a customer.
