Greedy! I would rate 0 star if it was an option. Clinic that clearly is solely for money and not patient. Reception man must be very unhappy person, only explanation for his rudeness towards a patient that he does not even know.

Dr Nam only checked few things and told me my only option is surgery. I went to a differemt place for a second opinion and second place made me a treatment plan without surgery. Wow..how does this person even keep his medical license??

Writing on behalf of my grandparents, who called because they didn’t think they could make it to their appointment due to heavy rain. The lady who answered was rude af and said that was not their problem. Highly recommend training your employees with ETIQUETTE before hiring them, especially with the majority of the patients being elderly. 😒

I was a glaucoma patient of Dr. Paul Park who moved away to NY on December 23, 2021. Since Dr. Sok Nam is a cataract specialist I decided to find a new eye doctor for future treatment. After scheduling an initial consultation with my new Doctor's Office I called Nam Eye Center to request my medical history with Dr. Park on Tuesday, January 11. They refused to release my medical history to me and said that I would need to have my new Doctor's Office send them a Medical Release Form. My new Doctor's Office sent the completed form and followed up with multiple phone calls. I went in for my initial consultation with my new Doctor's Office on Wednesday, February 9. The front office staff informed me that they were unable to obtain my medical records with the exception of some notes that Dr. Park had made. The front office staff followed up with another call to the Nam Eye Center regarding the records but were unable to make any progress. I decided to stop by the Nam Eye Center to speak to the staff directly. After explaining my situation, the front office staff member informed me that the person that took care of the Dr. Park's patient's medical records was out sick and was not expected to return anytime soon. I find it hard to believe that there's only one person that can pull up a patient's record in a modern medical office. The office manager came up and she informed me that it takes time to retrieve the records. I asked her how much longer and she refused to give me a direct answer. She then said that Dr. Park was no longer with their office and that if I needed my medical records that I should contact him directly. Fine, so I asked her for Dr. Park's contact information and she informed me that they were not allowed to give that information out. It seems that the Nam Eye Center has an unethical policy of making it difficult for you to switch your choice of eye care provider. The staff are extremely unprofessional and rude. If you value your sanity, do yourself a favor and do not place any trust of your eye care with the Nam Eye Center.

I would give 0/5 stars if I could. There's no point of scheduling an appointment here, as you will not be seen anywhere close to that time. My elderly disabled father spent the whole afternoon waiting there only to be seen right before they closed for the day. Majority of their patients are elderly, too. Our elders should not be waiting these long hours for care. Reading others' reviews though seems like this is unfortunately the norm for this center. Highly recommend seeking care elsewhere if possible.

STAFF here underperformed compared to other Optometrist within the Korea Town community. Appointments are not what they seem like. Took me 1 hour to see Dr. Nam, and I was out the door close to 1:45 hours. I scheduled an appointment and waiting patiently for 1 month. Excellent Doctor with an unprofessional staff personnel.

Very rude and dangerous doctor. Stears patients toward money-making treatments. He treated my mom with laser without informing side effects. She drove home after treatment and got into an accident because of severe glares and side effects. No one in the office or doctor told her not to drive or need someone to drive her. She went back and complained and replied back "Than live like that rest of your life". Rude and unprofessional.

I had an appointment at 2:30pm, but the wait is at least 2 hours. Why do they take so many patients at the same time? Please don’t go there. They already have a lot of bad reviews for the same reason, and they never seem to change.
