I am writing this review with a great deal of frustration regarding the experience my two daughters and I had at Dr. Newman's optometry clinic. I took my 7-year-old and 9-year-old daughters to him due to the persistent vision problems my younger daughter had been facing for the past few months. Her primary doctor had already confirmed her vision to be at 20/100 for both eyes, which clearly indicated a significant issue. Our appointment with Dr. Newman was an eye-opening disappointment, and not in the way one would hope from an optometrist. He performed eye exams on both my daughters consecutively, starting with my older daughter. I must admit, during her examination, he appeared thorough and patient, taking his time to explain her condition and the need for corrective eyeglasses. However, the real shock came when he turned his attention to my younger daughter, the one who needed urgent and specialized care due to her alarming 20/100 vision in both eyes. Dr. Newman's attitude and approach during her examination were nothing short of shocking. He was rushed, dismissive, and completely negligent towards her needs. It was evident that her vision was significantly worse than her older sister's, yet he callously brushed off my concerns, insinuating that she only wanted glasses because her sister was getting them. This level of disregard for a child's well-being and the blatant refusal to conduct a thorough examination is deeply unsettling. My daughter struggled to even read the eye charts, which further emphasized the gravity of her vision impairment. It is utterly disheartening that a professional entrusted with the care of young eyes would treat such an important matter so carelessly. To anyone considering Dr. Newman's services, especially if you have a child with genuine vision concerns, I strongly advise against it. His rushed and dismissive approach towards my daughter's examination, despite her documented vision impairment, speaks volumes about his lack of dedication and professionalism. It is a shame that such behavior could potentially put a child's eye health at risk. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with Dr. Newman's optometry services.

Absolutely unprofessional and rude front desk personnel. They can’t explain, answer questions without bad attitude. Really unprofessional.
