My mother who is almost 95 years old this week and just had cataract surgery with Dr. Dao. She had both eyes done and we are so happy with the results. She had the largest cataract of the day for the first surgery. In just 1 day her vision was much better and after 2 weeks she's not wearing her glasses anymore. Naturally you have to wait for a month for the total healing but we are very optimistic for the final outcome. The surgery was done at the North East Alliance Surgery Center in Hamden and it was a delightful experience. Everyone was just wonderful and made my mom very comfortable. We were in and out in about 3 hours. The names of the staff that helped us with both surgeries were, Dr. Dao, Erica, Lisa, Dr. Lee, Dave, Angela, Tiffany, Josh, Stephanie, Marquita, Tona, Linda, Alexis, Liz, Sara, Wendy, Jessica, Jhackie and Alex. We took all their names because they were all exceptional. We hope we didn't miss anyone as they were all terrific. The parking was great and the office is beautiful. I don't think you could ask for anything more. Thank you Dr. Dao and staff for all the attention and comfort you gave us during this stressful time. You made it so much easier for us and we appreciate you all. We hope this review will help someone who is thinking of getting cataract surgery and nervous about the procedure, but our experience was a great one and would highly recommend Dr. Dao and the North East Alliance Surgery Center.
