I woke up one morning with pinkeye and called them (as a new patient) and explained what was going on. They got me in the same day, and the entire staff was really nice to me. The office was really really busy, but the nurses and doctor never made me feel rushed. I was really happy with my experience there

I highly recommend all the MD’s at this eye center! I wouldn’t go elsewhere! Professional, friendly, caring. Nothing is rushed. Fabulous care from all!

Dr. Nicewander cares about his patients. My mom has eye problems and he opened his office on a Saturday to accommodate her and make sure everything was working properly in her eye - making her not have to wait in case the problem was serious. I would highly recommend Dr. Nicewander to anyone with eye problems or just in need of an eye exam.

If I could give zero stars I would. Apparently I missed an appointment (I am human, and there was NO reminder call for an appointment made an entire year in advance.) I received a bill in the mail for a no show fee which I completely understand and have no problem paying. Included with the bill, however was a very rude, nasty letter which is completely unprofessional and uncalled for. If you have the option, go elsewhere.

I have been unhappy with my current glasses and where I have gotten them, so on the recommendation of my cousin I went to Niswander to get sunglasses. I loved the feedback as I tried different styles and was able to pick a pair of sunglasses in 30 minutes! Got a call a week later they were ready. I am very happy with the service and will be coming back. And I have edited my post to say that I will no longer being going to Niswander Eye Center based on how they treated a 25 yr dedicated employee. Lost my business based on that treatment.

From the polite, pleasant and helpful administration staff to the different levels of professionals who are all noteworthy, this will be a good visit/experience. I thought this was a cool touch. After I had my cataract surgery and came back for the routine post op...you are given a plant. What a class act.

I was referred to Dr. Niswander for treatment of cataracts. As soon as I met Dr. Niswander and his staff, I felt I was in the best possible hands. My treatment options were thoroughly explained. I followed Dr. Niswander's recommendation and chose the multifocal lens implant. These lenses are amazing and I would personally recommend them if they are an option for you. These lenses represent an investment in your eyesight, but what could be more precious? I am just 24 hours post-op, and I am free from glasses. The procedure itself was pain free and the results are virtually immediate. Dr. Niswander is highly skilled and thorough and he is supported by an excellent staff.I give his office a five-star review without reservation.

Always very friendly. Called this morning at 8:15 hoping for an appointment. They got me one at 9:20, I was back to work downtown before 10:00. Good stuff.

Everyone is friendly and kind. I broke my glasses on a recent camping trip. Kevin was able to take the lenses from my broken pair, put them in an old frame I had, AND took the arms from my nicer glasses and attach them to my old pair! He really did an amazing job. Everything was easy, quick and just a perfect experience.

Bait and switch. My appointment was switched to an inexperienced doctor.

First, after asking if I want the dilating drops and I answered " No, bc I'm driving" they did anyway. Second, they told me that I didn't need to wear my glasses I already had for over a year, due to headaches and not being able to SEE far away, yea tried that!!! Not good advice!! Then because they charged insurance my husband and I didn't have for over two years, we both received bills for over $135, after speaking with billing and telling me they would fix the mistake, I then received two letters from an attorney!!!! Yep I'm being sued for THEM billing the wrong insurance and for a petty $155 plus my husbands $135!!! A year later they have the nerve to send a letter saying "we owe $25" for an appointment we didn't know we had, and to waive the $25 we needed to make an appointment!! Why on earth would we EVER go back?? And really??? $25???
