Whether they’re busy and packed with people or very few, it still takes an hour or more just to get placed into their second waiting area. They have to work on time management as others like myself still need to get back to work. It shows a lack of care for people’s time. And unfortunately have to find a different office that respects people’s time. And they need to work on biohazard training for their employees. Finally get to sit down to wait even longer in the room and find a used swab😒 Hour and a half is way too long for a follow up. Zero stars if I could!

Quite possibly THE WORST service I have ever received from any medical provider. Let me tell you why: 1.) They stopped taking almost ALL insurances, making it near impossible for patients such as myself who have been seeing the doctors at NFCS for years to continue to receive services. And if you are inquiring about what type of insurance provider I have - I have a very good vision plan with Humana. I had been using NFCS' services since I was 12 and their office was located on University Ave. As someone with an extreme prescription since I was very young, it's disheartening to not be able to continue to see the doctors I've been seeing for years who know and understand my medical history. Having been a patient for roughly 16 years, it's a wakeup call to see how little they care about you. You know what this means? They see customers as cash cows because you are more than likely paying out of pocket. Makes you wonder how many people they have taken advantage of with this tactic. 2.) Unable to reach a person on the phone in-office during operating hours. On a number of occasions, I have tried to reach out to their office for inquiries, assistance and even to make or cancel appointments. It is near impossible, no matter which extension you use to get somebody on the phone. I couldn't even get somebody on the phone to cancel an appointment I had to make MONTHS in advance because they now don't take my insurance. And they are terrible with callbacks if you leave a voicemail with their afterhours service. Not to mention that the afterhours service kept dropping my call and it took me 30 minutes to be able to relay a 30 second message. 3.) Terrible with Callbacks. Upon requesting my original callback, I was met with one of the rudest individuals on the phone. When I asked that a doctor or office manager call me back so I could explain my situation to someone who had more familiarity with my situation and medical history, I was met with attitude and disrespectful words on the phone something to the tune of "Whoever calls you back is going to tell you the same thing". I did not even receive this call back until 3 days later, and after I called 2 times back-to-back using the different extensions on their answering machine to attempt to speak with someone. No seconds later did I then receive my requested callback from the aforementioned rude woman. 4.) Clear lack of professionalism and general distasteful behavior in their employees. Today I received my second call back after over a week of requesting it. The woman who called did not identify herself and lead the conversation with "We are going to do you a favor". After over a week of not receiving anything back, I had already gone and made myself an appointment with another eye doctor. When I explained to the woman that she wasn't doing me a favor because of the time sensitive situation, she proceeded to childishly and condescendingly exclaimed that "You should just get it from them then" before hanging up. I have in all my years never had a medical professional hang up on me, and frankly I am appalled that they would let someone work there who treats their patients so disrespectfully. 5.) Eyeglasses "professional" is less than professional. This should come as no surprise that the red headed lady who works assisting patients with glasses and sales is by far the nastiest lady you could ever deal with. She once snatched a pair of glasses from my dad's hands because he was trying to look at the model number. Their glasses prices are extremely inflated, and they will try to add on extra unnecessary fees to jack up your costs. Be on the lookout getting glasses from them, you can often find them way cheaper online or at other establishments. For all these reasons I am giving this medical office a 1/5 stars, however they deserve a big fat 0.

Dr. Snodgrass has been my Ophthalmologist for many years and his entire practice is the gold standard of professionalism and state of the art eye care. My cataract removal surgery was a perfectly designed experience from the initial consultation, through the surgical process, meticulous recovery care, and thorough post operative checkups. The entire staff is highly professional and experienced, and the Surgery Center could not have been better. My surgery and care was carefully planned to suit my individual case and needs. I was thoroughly counseled regarding each decision to choose my best possible result. Everything I needed was provided and instructions were comprehensive. Someone was always available to answer and discuss any questions. I expected the cataract removal surgery would improve my quality of life, but my experience and results were above and beyond anything I could have expected.
