Dr Fanous and his staff are pleasant and very through. I was tested and spent considerable time with Robert prior to meeting with Dr Fanous. I had questions which were all answered. I would definitely recommend Dr Fanous to anyone looking for a physician who cares.

The staff were all very nice. However, the technology is severely behind the times and the 3 hour long wait because its one doctor and a handful of technicians is just wrong. My appointment was scheduled at 3. I arrived close to 15 minutes early. I didnt walk out till a quarter to 6. Every single person commented on the wait and a few regulars stated that its always like that. You have to sign some odd waiver that even the staff couldnt explain to me... Stop overbooking, maybe hire another doctor, and update the instruments... I won't be going back.

2023 Busy place. Always greeted with smiles. Great staff, some local students working others learning on the job. Very pleasant waiting room. Its always busy and you'll have to be patient because you will be waiting, being a Subspecialist doc is in high demand, Doctor is extremely qualified in his field of Ophthalmology. highly knowledgeable, experienced, top notch, professor. Staff is efficient and try to move patients along as quickly as they can. I feel like I am in good hands with this team of professionals. I think it's worth the wait. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5 years mom was a patient now myself 3 years. Two locations. Gainesville and Chiefland.
