I was a new patient today, having recently moved to the area from Pittsburgh, PA. I couldn’t have found a more professional, knowledgeable and pleasant doctor than Dr. Zajac. I will definitely be an ongoing patient of hers for hopefully many years. Her staff also were very friendly.

I so enjoy my very thorough eye exams at NEOES in Stow! Dr. Zajac is not only gentle, she always provides time for questions and explanations, she is very proficient in her practice, and extremely sweet to top it off. I have always had great care and when I suffered a torn retina a few years ago, I was whisked into diagnosis and treatment immediately. I would not take my eyes and my vision anywhere else! Easy to schedule online appointment. Dr. Briggs is very detailed and answered any and all questions. My appointment was quick and easy. Ordering new glasses was easy as well. Staff in room and at optical department were great support & pleasant.

Yesterday, my husband was told by his optometric doctor that a simple laser procedure (YAG) would give my husband a good chance of improved vision years after old cataract surgeries. Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons got him in this morning at 8 due to a last minute cancellation. Every single individual, from the receptionists, to the intake technician Tyler, and to Dr. Jones his opthalmologist, was absolutely phenomenal. They were professional, courteous and caring the entire time. All of our questions were answered thoroughly, and my husband's procedure went very smoothly. We'd give them an A+++ times three!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt this was necessary after my last two experiences. My last annual eye exam lasted over two hours long because the doctor got behind (this was a 9/10am appointment so pretty early in the day still). I waited in the exam room not knowing when I was going to be next. Things happen and the doctor apologized and even put a note in my file to not wait the next time so I just chalked it up to an unusual day and those things happen so completely fine. However, I was supposed to have my next annual appointment today (after already being rescheduled from December due to the doctor’s schedule) and it never even happened because of the wait times. My appointment was supposed to be at 5:15, but after hearing talk from other patients and realizing that some were still there from their 3:00 appointments I asked what my wait time was looking like and they said two hours. That would be at least 7:00pm. I asked to reschedule and the earliest I would be able to get in with the doctor I typically see would be end of July. I just think it is wild to have to always wait over two hours for basic eye appointments and that seems to be more the norm instead of just an off day. Unfortunately I will be changing eye doctors.

I love the providers but HATE the scheduling. Plan on being here 2 hours at a minimum! I have never been able to get seen for less than 1 hour AFTER my scheduled appointment. I’m sitting in a room right now an hour past my appointment time. Time to find a new eye surgeon.

This review is mainly regarding the billing department and lack of communication between them and offices. I’ve been a patient since my LASIK procedure several years ago and have had nothing but good experiences with the doctors. However, the past two years, I received a bill months later for visits that should have been a covered as annual eye exams. They were coded incorrectly and billed to my medical rather than vision insurance. Despite multiple calls to billing - both times - it takes a ridiculous amount of time (nearly a year after the original appointment) to get it corrected. After last year, I even mentioned it when I was in office this year for my visit — to no avail. It’s not worth the hassle and enough to make me find another eye doctor.
