I'm a long-term Opthalmology patient, and have received excellent care at this practice, including referrals for specialists and second opinions. My doctor listens to me, answers all of my questions, and doesn't sugarcoat things, but gives me options. When I had a recent problem that required an urgent exam, they got me in quickly. Also, I found that my doctor now offers a new surgical choice that's less invasive, with a shorter recovery time. Medical eye care is changing rapidly and I'm pleased to have these options from a trusted provider.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shah's here for a number of years now, and have been very pleased with all phases of my experience. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes in the main waiting room. A very pleasant physician's assistant takes you back to the exam room and gives you a basic eye exam (reading the letters, etc.), gives you drops, etc. Then you get to stay put in that same room for a short time while your eyes dilate. Dr. Shah then comes in to give you a more comprehensive exam based on your particular needs. Dr. Shah is very calm, upbeat, and easy to talk to. I generally have questions, and she always takes time to answer them. I feel like I am getting excellent care here. The only drawback is that it is difficult to get an appointment on short order with Dr. Shah, as she is usually booked up for weeks. I would highly recommend making your next appointment for an annual exam as you're leaving your current one!

I prefer the Walker Lane Location. It’s much closer to my home. Very convenient and plenty of free safe parking. The Wait time was extremely long at the Falls Church Facility. The Falls Church Facility is clean, and large. Have more Drs available there. But, I prefer going to see My Dr (Dr. Martin) at the Walker Lane (Metro) Facility. He sees me quicker, Staff is very friendly and accommodating, Atmosphere is quieter, pleasant, more spacious, courteous and convenient for me.
