Dr. Osetinsky and his staff are the best. They have made my otherwise alarming vision issue into something I can handle. I see a couple of reviews here, and I just have to defend Northwest Retina. On virtually every visit to the clinic I'm in and out in a perfectly reasonable amount of time. If someone else's emergency is the cause of my delay, I'm glad to know the doc would do the same for me if the roles were reversed. Also, the facilities are top notch as are his people. Early in my macular degeneration struggle (7 years ago) I thought I would try out someone other than Dr. Osetinsky. Why not? I'll tell you why. With the ostensible new doctor, I was in excruciating pain for a whole evening after this one particular eye injection. Now I was afraid and confused. What had I done? I never had this problem at Northwest Retina. I went back and I'm glad Dr. Osetinsky didn't hold it against me. He is a highly skilled ophthalmologist - no doubt about it. I now had the evidence. He saved my life and if my other eye fails, I know he will be able to save that one too.

Brought my mother here twice for appointments that were scheduled months in advance. The first time, we were there for two hours, and a majority of that time was in the waiting room. Several customers came up to the front desk to complain about their wait time. The second visit, waited almost 3 hours to be seen and to leave. My mother was appalled at the length of time and left a review of their business on Google and wouldn’t you know….they sent her a certified letter today, letting her know she has to find a new retina place and her (scheduled) appointment for October would be cancelled. To be clear, at no point during either appointment was my mom rude or even vocal about the time or service there. Absurd.

I met this (at the time) young doctor 40 years ago and he was smart and gained my trust. Who knew that I would get his help after all these years? I live in Memphis and found him in Washington state and so I reached out to him on a weekend because my eye was blurry. Dr. Osetinsky gave me important and urgent advice. I credit him for saving my eyesight because I wasn’t sure if it was serious. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

I have been going to NW Retina for a few years now. Dr. Osetinsky is amazing and very thorough. The staff at NW Retina work like a well-oiled machine, and are all very knowledgeable , using the state-of-the-art machines to diagnose specific vision issues. I highly recommend this practice!😊 …

Plan for a 2 plus hour visit. Appointment was at 11:00 I was called back at 11:25 to have eyes dilated and some little test done. Sent back to waiting area. 12:25 I was called to a room. 12:55 dr. Came in. I ask how they looked compared to last visit. “ Not any worse” those were his words. Let’s keep doing what we are doing see you again in 3 months. Tree he nurse was busy using AI to copy and paste and chat GPT to copy and paste into my file. I feel this is a hippa thing. Not impressed. I will look for another specialist . UPDATE: 8/1/2026 Dr. Did not like my Google review so today in the mail and certified no less I received a letter stating he could no longer be my ophthalmologist. Did someone’s feelings get hurt? I would suggest not going to this Dr. unless you have all day to spend in his poorly decorated office.

Dr. O and his staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered in the medical community. The way they interact with each other and just seem to flow is very impressive and a welcome change compared to the impersonal interactions with other healthcare professionals. I highly recommend him.

Dr Lin is great and so is everyone in the office. Dr showed me the pictures of my eyes and explained everything in an understandable manner. Tara was also very thorough in her explanation of what she was doing and why. Highly recommend if you need a good Opthalmologist!

We went to see Dr. Jin for some concerns my mother-in-law was having in her eye. Dr.Jin was so kind and thoroughly explained what was happening in her eye. The staff in the office was wonderful and took very good care of her. I would highly recommend this Dr. and his staff for anyone who needs a good ophthalmologist.

Out of all people working there, only two of them (the main doctor and the trainee) seemed genuinely nice and happy to be there. Everyone else did not seem like they wanted to be there. I was trying to fill out my paperwork and I was handed another patients confidential information. I told front desk about it and she completely brushed me off. 10 minutes later she finally acknowledged it. Makes me concerned for my own information being handed off to a stranger. They did not walk me through the process and tests they were doing. Every other place i’ve been to has done so. I don’t think majority of them there should be health workers of any kind at all. Especially that they mostly treat the elderly.

Took hubby here. For check up on his eye site. He has Retinaitis Pigmentosa or R.P.

Everyone is friendly! Usually we are waiting for a long time and then when we get taken back to the room it feels rushed. But I do enjoy the staff and provider
