So I decided to give Nova another chance. I'm glad I did. When I spoke to them about my experience, they completely apologized as their main person for the front office was away for medical reasons. Which I do remember. They also took a look at my glasses even before the talk about my previous experience and actually fixed my glasses on the spot since they found some peeling on my lenses. Sandy is very nice and was extremely knowledgeable about insurance and coverage. I would say I would now recommend this place and as well put to bed the doubt I had before. Old review: Great doctor, but the assistant blamed my crooked eye brows rather than the fact that the frame isn't seated right. I felt it was rude and I didn't say anything, but honestly.. If you set a pair of glasses on the table and they sit crooked as they stand.. its not my eyebrows..

You're the judges! I went there to check my eye sight after 2 years spend with my previous lenses. The exam went well and I decided to order my new lenses there. I was told that the new lenses (I kept my frame) would be ready in 10 business days. They finally arrived with 1 week delay. I went to pick them up to be told that they need to redo one lens as it was scratched. I had to wait another 10 days (unbelievable) for the new lenses to be ordered. After 10 days, my new lenses arrived but they could not be fitted on my frame. They drilled the holes where the frame is mounted too small. Another 5 days to wait but this time I needed to send the frame and lenses back. Bottom line, I still don't have my lenses after almost 2 months since my exam. I received my lenses with frame but with one side still scratched yet again!!! I'm speechless....

Very impressed with the professionalism and staff at Nova Eye Care. They are very supportive and very accomidating. They always go the extra mile to help me with all my familiy"s glasses and contact lenses. The staff is very patient and very knowledgeable. They have an amazing eye glass selection and top notch designer frames. I went in for a full eye exam and a new pair of frames, and was there for less than 45 min. Got my new glasses in less than a week. Have been a patient there for last 15 years and the doctor is one of the best I ve seen. Highly recommend, and they are so convenient in downtown Bellevue right next to Bellevue Square Mall and the Hyatt.

They provide very thorough medical care. They also recommend products available at drugstores for when my eyes are bothering me, and my whole family, including my children, receives regular checkups. Since consultations and appointments are available in Korean, I can visit comfortably at any time.

It is 4 pm on a Friday afternoon and the joint is closed. Two people came in to try a frame out, squandered two hours of our time. Call in advance even if you want to come in during scheduled hours

Me and my daughter had an appointment today and we had a great experience with both Dr.Jang and Christine. They were both very kind and helpful with all of my inquiries. I definitely recommend checking out Nova Eye Care if you're due for an eye exam, updated prescription, etc.

Very kind and PROFESSIONAL!!! I was well taken care of and further treatment is explained in detail. Doctor's clear explanation helps me understand of my physical condition of my eyes. And also, some tips to my life style helps me in keeping my eyes healthy. I and my family feel so HAPPY to go to see the doctor for a regular check-up.

Called for the first time to see if I could set up an appointment, Christine was so helpful, got us in right away. Had a great experience at the clinic and the doctor, who treated me and my kid with care! Thank you so much!!

To begin with, I've been a patient with the office for the last 4 years. My experience as far as regarding patient assistance, help, and consultation was not that great. Especially, the receptionist was not very helpful for inquiries that I needed to get unless they have a perception that you will use their service and as a paying customer, they will not help you out.

I recommend AGAINST this provider. The doctor is okay but the hardware and services are pricy and the assistant is so arrogant. She billed my insurance for contact lenses that I did not order and when I called her inquiring as I got the claim from my insurance she blamed it on the doctor and she canceled the bill and said that my benefit amount should be available for me to use with a different provider, which of course was not true. The other provider was not able to bill my insurance as the amount was locked by Nova Eye Care. This resulted in me not being able to use my benefit for 2017 since this happened in the last week of December. The assistant, Sandy, never took ownership of her mistake and never apologized. She called it a misunderstanding. I had to call the doctor and told him this is insurance fraud, only then he wrote me a check with the amount that was locked. He fixed her mistake but I had to be ready angry on the phone to be able to get it right. So unprofessional and so arrogant. I will never go back there again.

Disappointed. The service was quick and to the point but the rebate. They over charged and handed me a rebate to get me back $160. A month later and I'm still trying to get my $160 rebate. They made it sound so quick and easy but I still haven't seen my money. I suggest looking at other places who won't over charge and give you a rebate form that may or may not work.

Pros from start to finish.

They take state insurance, and I was accommodating even though I was a little late. Very kind staff. Quick and thorough exam and my glasses came in earlier than expected. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Staff and doctor at Nova Eye Care is always courteous and professional. The doctor has been extremely thorough during the eye exam and very patient as he shares and explains the exam results with me and my family. I don't ever get the sense that they are pushing me to make a sale or buy something I don'tr need. In fact, we've had multiple instance of the doctor and the staff recommending lower costing alternative eyeglasses and contact lenses than the ones I was thinking about getting. They carry name brand frames as well as decent amount of lower cost but still quality frames at the store. We have been trusting our family's eye care with Nova Eye Care for nearly a decade now and they have always been great. I highly recommend Nova Eye Care for their professional and friendly service.

Great location- walking distance to Bellevues new football hot spot! Clean! Friendly staff! No high pressure sales to buy their frames (but they do have some nice ones to choose from) I’ve even recommended this place to my daughter!

Both Dr. Jang and Christine are very knowledgeable and super nice. They have very good taste in eyeglasses. Highly recommend.

Dr. Jang’s office in Bellevue is located in the very convenient place, second floor of the Hyatt. Eye exam was very thorough using various equipments. And I received full explanation of my eye conditions and future care plans for healthier eyes. Kind and knowledgeable help with the selection of frames made very satisfying experience with the visit.

Got my contacts and glasses prescription updated in less than 20 min. Very efficient and friendly service!!
