I highly recommend Dr. Snyder and the IPL treatment for dry eyes. Before discovering this treatment, I was struggling with excessive tearing that interfered with my daily life—I couldn’t even wear eye makeup. I also experienced blurred vision and frequently woke up with sore, crusty, and inflamed eyelids. I had tried numerous remedies, but they offered only minimal relief, and my symptoms continued to worsen. Finding Dr. Snyder and his team was a true relief. The office is beautiful, clean, and modern, and the staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Dr. Snyder took the time to explain the IPL treatment for dry eyes in detail, and I appreciated that he also offered the option to treat facial skin during the same sessions. After completing four IPL treatments, I noticed a dramatic improvement. By the end of the fourth session, the tearing had nearly stopped, and my eyelids were no longer inflamed. As an added bonus, my skin looked significantly better—fine lines were reduced, and redness and discoloration had faded. I’m thrilled to be wearing eye makeup again, and all of my symptoms have completely resolved. Thank you!!

How likely am I to refer a friend or family member to this establishment? I already DID! The new office is lovely, as are all the employees who work here. They are friendly and intelligent. The Doctors are gentle, and careful to explain everything. Of course, its always fun to shop for new glasses/frames, and Leslie is a joy. I have been with Oakbrook Optometry for many years.

I had an amazing experience bringing my four-year-old to this optometrist. The doctor was patient, gentle, and fantastic with kids—my child felt comfortable the entire time, and the exam was thorough and reassuring. The front staff were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, helpful, and incredibly understanding. They went above and beyond to make things easier for me by offering toys and keeping my two little ones entertained while we waited. Their kindness made a huge difference and turned what could have been a stressful appointment into a smooth, pleasant visit. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care we received and highly recommend this clinic to any family looking for quality eye care and truly exceptional service.

1000% recommend and coming back. The staff is amazing, made the entire experience extremely comfortable as if it were me walking into my own home. They’re very up to date with their technology it’s insane. I was honestly so amazed and impressed with everything. Doc took care of me as well and made sure I was aware of my option. Came here with my 11 year old as our Eye Doctor was no longer taking our insurance for frames. We asked questions about contacts and were told about OrthoK or CRT. Debated for a while, then decided to do it. After 7 nights of wearing the lenses, my son's vision improved to better than 20/20. He didn't have to wear glasses anymore after only 3 nights of wearing. He is so so happy. Stephanie and Leslie were very patient with multiple lens training sessions and Kim is always so nice to greet him when he comes in. Dr. Snyder went over everything in great detail with my son and took the time to educate him and answer all of his questions. An amazing experience and we are so happy our other Eye Doctor didn't take our insurance anymore!

Oakbrook Optometry is excellent. I appreciate the customer service- Kim checked on my insurance coverage twice, Victoria took me through the Glaucoma and Field of Vision testing with humor and efficiency, and Dr. Snyder is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and kind. The office is light and spacious, but still feels personal.
