I'm going to start off by saying my time is just as important as the doctors and the staff. I had a 7:30 a.m. appointment. I got there at 7:25. I was the first person to sign in. Theses days if you are late for an appointment by 15 minutes they either cancel your appointment or charge a fee. At 8:15, I spoke with a front desk to confirm if my appointment time was 7:30 or if I was suppose to be here at 7:30. She confirmed by appointment time was 7:30. By this time about 6 people who came after me had been called to the back to be seen. I waited about 10 more minutes and went back to the desk and advised that I wanted to cancel my appointment and I wanted a refund of my deductible. They proceed to tell me they are in the back setting up and my file is in the back. I advised her to go get it because my time is just as valuable an anyone elses and to sit her for almost an hour is ridiculous. I will never service this office and I will let my optometrist know as well so that she will not do any other referrals to this practice.

I called to ask if they took insurance and the lady that answered responded “…um yes we take insurance we are a medical office…? “ awkward silence.. She shouldn’t be giving people that attitude like if I’m dumb but simply answer patients doubts without an attitude. Her tone was so denigrating

As someone who has also been a patient at this location as well, I stress, it is not the doctors and the front office staff. It's the interns/doctors' understudy or residents. They are the most culturally bias, tone deaf, indignant and ignorant group of people I ever had to endure for an eye exam. Obviously, their uselessness cause them to resort to being the location's medical bullies or weirdos because standing outside the door while I was getting my exam snickering as though new to seeing a mirror or in awe of a music box was relatively unsettling. Because of how uncomfortable I was made to feel, I opted for the Downwood location but that is a review all within itself.
