Very good experience. Saw Dr. Hatch in conjunction with Dr. Gorovoy and they formulated a plan for my dry eye which is helping very nicely.

Will a review with ZERO stars be accepted. The facility is dingy - might have been great 20 years ago when the founders of the practice built this. This team, to be polite, is terrible. A doctors office reception staff that is challenged to perform even the most simple tasks. 1:45 appt. Showed up at 1:33. Walked out at 2:52 after being told at 2:30 that I was the next chart. Three patients later I am still not called. This is a cataract mill….funneling patients to the in-house optometrist and probably to a cataract surgery center they receive referral fees. I was there for an emergency which is now being handled by a physician with some respect for their patients. STAY AWAY!!!!

I never write bad reviews (really, you can look at my Google profile), but my experience here was so awful I had to write something to warn others.
I recently developed a severe case of chronic dry eye that has severely impacted my daily functioning (including intense discomfort and impaired vision). After an initial consultation with Dr. Park, I was prescribed Miebo eye drops. I ended up having to wait 21 days to receive this treatment, due to the negligence of the staff. I was told that the drops would be sent in the mail once my insurance’s prior authorization was processed. Every time I asked about the status and why it was taking so long, I was told that there was nothing that could be done, we just have to wait (both receptionists and technicians told me this). In the meantime, I continued having debilitating symptoms, with nothing over the counter providing relief. Finally, after almost three weeks of this, a tech actually looked into it and discovered that the mail pharmacy required me to send them my insurance information myself (which I had never been notified of). Once I did that, I received a month free sample of the drops in two days. So I waited three weeks without treatment for no reason.
The Miebo drops helped more than anything else had, but I soon learned that they cost $1200 without insurance for a month’s supply, and my insurance told me they would be $800 per month (not counted towards the deductible). These same exact drops are less than $20 OTC outside of the US. The mail pharmacy, BlinkRX reduced the price to $225 per month supply, again not counted towards the deductible. Dr. Park and the technicians who I asked about it had told me that the cost would be significantly reduced by BlinkRX, and one technician told me the drops would be between $0-35. I don’t understand why a doctor would prescribe such an expensive drug as a first option. It feels like it is intended to make a profit, especially when the drug is so blatantly marked up.
After learning about the final price of the Miebo drops today, I called to ask if there were any other options to reduce the cost. The tech I spoke with (whose name I didn’t completely catch as she was clearly rushing; think it was Randy, Randall, or maybe Miranda) was extremely disrespectful over the phone. I started to ask my question and she repeatedly interrupted me, saying “do you have a question?” I was not rambling or sharing unnecessary information, I had been speaking for less than five seconds when she first interrupted me.
Last thing I’ll mention, Dr. Park implanted dissolving punctal plugs into my eyes, without asking me whether I prefer dissolving or permanent (we had previously discussed permanent, and I was not aware dissolving plugs even existed). I would have preferred permanent, to avoid having to pay for the procedure a second time (they can be removed if they are causing side effects or unhelpful). I also just generally don’t think there should be any surprises about something that has been implanted into your body.
I left two stars because my experience wasn’t 100% negative. There were some technicians (Jada is one who was wonderful, so sorry that I forgot others' names!) who actually expressed care and concern and apologized for my experience of going so long without treatment. And Dr. Park was very helpful overall, I just felt she could have been more transparent about the drugs and procedures that she prescribed/administered.
Thanks for reading yall, helps to vent my frustrations. I hope the staff can receive this feedback and folks have better experiences in the future. Of course much of this is symptomatic of the horrific state of healthcare in the US, not just the fault of this office or individual staff members.

I accompanied my Mom to her appointment today and was delighted with everything about the appointment. In fact, I am amazed to see the unfavorable reviews as they speak totally opposite of what I (we) found.
From the warm greetings by both receptionists to the gentle attendance by both the ophthalmology assistant and the ophthalmologist. The exams were thorough and all questions were answered to my satisfaction.
In terms of stars 10 would be a good start.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dr. Sarracino is an exceptional ophthalmologist. I see her every four months to monitor ocular hypertension so we can catch any signs of glaucoma as early as possible, and I always feel confident and well cared for under her supervision. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which gives me real peace of mind.
She also cares for my daughter and my husband, and we’ve all had consistently positive experiences.
The office staff and technicians are just as wonderful, professional, kind, and efficient. Scheduling is easy, and they are always accommodating and respectful of our time.
I highly recommend Dr. Sarracino and her entire team.
