The staff told me walk ins until 1 were accepted, but after taking an hour and a half trip to come by 1, they then told me the doctor leaves early fridays. I insisted and they said they would see me, to their credit, but then they were trying to charge me $100 even though they're in network and specialists cost $35 per visit- confirmed with other opthalmologists in network. Do not appreciate the lack of consideration for patients' time/trying to overcharge

Hey, so a family member recommended me here & first time was great :) BUT the second time I came it was for an EMERGENCY ! I knew they only take schedule appointment but I was Upstate with the family for a birthday . Point is , every time I catch a ray of sunlight or open my eyes it hurt . I wore shades THE whole next day , called the office first thing in the morning and took a 3hr bus ride back to New York . I’m forever grateful cause if not I would have lost my right eye sight . All in all , it would small bacteria build up that we caught right on time due to me ever so oftenly sleeping with contacts :( .The staff is helpful .

Dr.Sleem is been an excellent doctor. My daughter has been to a few doctors before him and he was the only one who figured it out. I recommended him to my mom and he took care of her with both eye surgeries. I now recommended him to my brother and he’s taking care of his issues. I highly recommend him with his patience and listening to patients. Also that his exams are great and the secretaries also nurses are really nice and respectful. The whole environment there is great.
