Maybe I'm missing something, but I've been here several times with my son and experienced none of the issues described elsewhere. Every encounter with office staff has been positive - over the phone and in person. I was charged for a refraction, and then at the next visit it was refunded because my insurance ended up covering it. Op Consultants didn't even have to tell me about the refund - but they did. And I've always been checked in promptly and seen within 10 minutes. I came here because our previous ophthalmologist quoted info off of another patient's chart. I first met with Dr. Moody and was impressed with his knowledge and the time he took with my son and I. He said Dr. Kumar would handle things, and Dr. Kumar noticed something in my son's medical history that the first doc (not Moody, but the sloppy one) overlooked. Though it delayed the surgical procedure, I was grateful that Dr. Kumar exercised such caution. My son just had his surgery with Dr. Kumar and already his vision has improved drastically. This is life-altering stuff, so how could I not show gratitude and leave a review for the clinic that made it possible? Who knows, maybe I'll go to the follow-up and all of the horrible stuff people described will come true. But I've been several times already and everything's been great. Even though it's a further drive than our original doctor, I'm glad we made the switch to Moody and Kumar, and I would do it again.

Beware this doctor may have hypochondria, an extreme phobia of getting sick. We walked out of this clinic after my masked daughter was already on te chair waiting to be seen. My three children and I were the only people in the practice wearing a mask. I had to take my other two children with me since they are all on their winter break. As soon as the assistant heard my son sneeze while wearing his mask, she froze in fear (her without a mask) and asked if he had a cold. She asked me so many questions about their possible risk of contagious ke symptoms and said she had to ask Dr. Waters if she could still see us. Again, we were the only family wearing a mask. No staff member was wearing a mask and a sign to wear a mask for protection was up in the reception area. Any child could get someone sick as they could be asymptomatic and not wearing a mask. I find it the doctor’s paranoia ridiculous yet she doesn’t enforce masks. If you have children, please stay away unless you only take the one with Medicaid to be seen (which is the one Dr. Waters is truly after.)

Ready to wait for an extra 30 to 40 minutes. For my last 2 appointments, I waited for 30+ minutes. Better I will start 30 minutes late next time. No other complaints so far.
