I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. Their staff, oh my, where do I begin. So rude, and unprofessional. They over charge you for every single exam they do, without needing it, and then it still takes about four weeks to …

Receptionist ( short reddish hair ) disrespectful sarcastically advising me of other patients in front of others. Privacy 0/10. Appointment moved without notice when I called the same day to confirm appointment and the day before.

Dr Marquez has been my daughter's obstetrician since 4/1/2019. She was referred by her primary physician. The nurse who was dilating my daughter's eyes was very rude and raised her voice to my daughter because the drops hurt her eyes and my …

Worst eye doctor , Do not waste your time here , I called to check if my glasses were in "THE OWNER " came on the line and very rudely said it's only been 5 days no way they are going to be in today I advised her that someone from office told me to call on Friday, she then started yelling at me over the phone , very unprofessional I would recommend going elsewhere since no response to what's so ever if that was indeed the owner and she hanged up on me will not be going back .

Do not buy glasses here if you have specific face measurements, which I’m sure everyone does. I was not told my face measurements in record would not be taken into account at time of purchase until I picked up my glasses and they were completely crooked on my face (witnessed by the front desk employee).
The front desk employee was very respectful, unfortunately the store’s policy (that I was unaware of) is awful. My only option for the glasses I received, not knowing my face measurements weren’t used, was to do a burning process to adjust the frame. I have had to deal with this process before for nonprescription personal sunglasses. I knew it would not work, and after multiple attempts the staff was not able to get them to be straight on my face. I went the second day and same result, however this time I made a fool out of myself and I left the office crying out of frustration that I paid 185 dollars on top of my insurance to have glasses that I will never wear. Even if my glasses would be straight on my face after the burning process, employee disclosed that they would revert back to their normal position which mean I would have to continue to go back to get them fixed.
I would have appreciated being told face measurements were no longer being done and I would not have purchased. I take my purchase buying glasses very serious as they are in my face every single moment of my life other than when I am asleep.
It is unfortunate that I did nothing wrong during this process and I could be offered no assistance.

The clerks & and assistant are amazing ! But the doctor himself is rude and does not even take the time to actually see what kind of lenses the patient needs. He goes by what 'he believes' you need even if its totally useless to the …

Went there for an eye exam due to insurance change, didn’t see an optometrist once for it, but I got my prescription, fine. Moved away a year later. They can’t send digital copy of my prescription, Optical Reflections on Alton Gloor is much more accommodating. It’s 2026, they’re just being greedy.

Extremely disappointing experience. I paid out of pocket for a contact lens prescription (no insurance), and when I requested a reprint of the prescription I was charged an additional fee just to receive it again. This policy is unreasonable and shows a lack of respect for patients. On top of that, the staff was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Overall, this practice seems more focused on fees than patient care. Literally don't come here save your money they're delusional and everything that's wrong with healthcare.

Highly recommend Dr. Marquez! I was able to go in for my yearly eye exam. He was prompt and very knowledgeable in his field. The best part is that the optical is right next door. I also chose my new pair of glasses. Looking forward to showing off my new pair of glasses…. We can never have too many!

I definitely don’t recommend this for smaller kids my son was referred to by his PCP and it was just a bad experience I understand everyone’s experience are different. The assistant of the dr is very rude raised her voice to my kid a couple times was very impatient when it was just us there. The doctor googled side effects of my child’s medication to see if that was something that was causing blindness right in front of me making me more uncomfortable. Then proceeded to point at something on a chart and tell me that his was slightly bigger than the normal person but to not worry like how am I not going to worry!? It seemed like the doctor himself didn’t even want to be there (the whole attitude was giving off an I meant if I have to do it vibe.) Took him to a different eye specialist and I mentioned this concern to the doctor about the area that was “bigger than most people” and said that that part of his eyes were fine and normal size… The only really good thing about there is the front desk lady.

I switched over to Optic Trend two years ago and have been coming here since. I drive a lot at night and asked if there was an option for adding something to my lenses so that the lights wont relfect as much. Dr. Marquez was really good at explaining everything and recommend crizal lenses. I am in love with my glasses! I highly recommend coming here!

After having terrible experiences with several other doctors in the valley, I'm glad I found Optic Trend. I felt this Ophthalmologist did a very thorough job and took the time to explain what the results meant. I ordered my glasses from the adjoining store and was very happy with the experience. I will be coming back here from now on.

First time walking in they were very nice and professional! The place was spotless and the atmosphere was light. But then it started going downhill, not to be rude but I dont think anyone working there is used to a person that has common sense coming in. They had no problem insinuating that i was faking my perscription within the first 10 minutes and even laughing about it in the front while I was waiting for a second assessment. They even made sure to loudly state that they have so many people pretending. You really dont think i know who you're talking about when i am the only patient that walked in? Are you really that used to not being professional that you feel comfortable yelling so loudly to eachother that I dont even need to try to hear you?
And get this, you want a copy of your perscription? 5 bucks. Dont want your doctor to not talk about your medical history to anyone and everyone? You need to ask him not too, and heres the kicker.... he can say no! I swear to anything if you are thinking of going here and you have even a REMOTELY difficult time conveying your thoughts, good luck. I would rate negative 1 if i could.

I’m rating it a 4 star because the doctor was nice and explaining me everything . BUT! There’s this one skinny morenita girl that was laughing the whole time while the doctor was explaining I don’t know what was funny …. If he was telling me that one of his patients got blind in one eye she was rude as hell . And I’m surprise that I was calm and being nice! 😆 cause if not I would’ve started something 😭 .
