Kristen, the manager of the Optic department at the Liberty street location, is nothing short of amazing!! She took the time to listen to my needs, picked multiple pairs for me to try on, worked patiently with me while I debated between 2 pair, made adjustments to both of them so I could truly feel how each pair would be and did it all with a smile! She exemplifies what Customer Service should be! I will be a customer for life!!

I went in a month ago to and got my daughter her prescription glasses. I had a wonderful experience at that time. The lady checking us in was very professional and Joe made my daughters experience very pleasant. I went in again today because I had such a great experience, however I regret returning to this office. The lady checking us in was rude and unprofessional. That made me want to leave right then and there but my son was really looking forward to getting his glasses. The lady that helped us pick frames very helpful. I just can’t believe how unprofessional I was treated when I was checked in. I will go to another office for my families future needs. Being busy and feeling overwhelmed is not an excuse to be unprofessional.

I wish I could choose less than one star. I’m very upset about the treatment I received today. A little over a year ago I bought new expensive frames for my new glasses. This was the third time I’ve had to replace the temple piece due to breakage at the hinge. The first time I paid $60 for the left side. The second time when the left one broke, I was told it was covered under the warranty and there was no charge (??). Three weeks ago, the right one broke. When I called to have it ordered, the man I spoke with immediately got angry and didn’t want to place my order unless he could see them first. I told him I now lived 4.5 hours away and couldn’t simply drop by. I told him to order the part, call me when they were in and I would then make the trip. He didn’t call, but I made the trip anyway. When I went in today, a nice woman began to help. I told her that the part was ordered, she took my glasses and went to the back. After a short wait, a man who I assumed to be the one I’d talked with on the phone came out with my repaired glasses, obviously in a bad mood. After I thanked him, he started in about how the breakage was not a defect. I replied that since the break was in the same place three times it had to be a defect in design. He responded in anger with a raised voice to the point that I felt threatened and I had to tell him to calm down. He then told me that there was no charge for the repair. I then asked him why I had to pay for the first one since I was told that the second repair was covered under warranty and this one was covered. It didn’t make sense. His reply was that none of them should have been covered. He didn’t appreciate my request for a refund of the $60. I like my doctor, but I may change due to this event. I will never, ever get my eyeglasses here again.
