The lady who helped me at Kaiser Optical in Pleasanton is wonderful. I would go out of my way to make sure she is the person who helps me the next time I need the services of the Optical Dept.

I got an eye exam with Dr. Ho and she was great. Very thorough and helpful. Then I ordered 2 sets of glasses with Jonathan Moore. I've been dealing with him for over 5 years and he is excellent and knowledgable on the frames and options available and in fitting and repairing glasses.

I got seen right away, but my replacement lenses may take 21 days to arrive. Recently, on my second visit, I was able to get a same day day appointment. I was happy they were able to reuse my frames for new computer lenses. I was unhappy that they no longer offer any cable temple frames.

I had such a wonderful experience at the optical department! Kira was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable, and she really took the time to help me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Definitely a 10/10 experience—highly recommend!

Leonarda Santos spent lots of time trying to get the best contact lens fit - with each eye requiring astigmatic lenses, it was not easy but I'm quite pleased with the fit.

It was very fast. I was able to get inexpensive frames without a hard sell on more expensive ones. I was treated with respect.

Aside from the woman who helped me check in at the glasses/contact lenses fitting and purchasing area, I was rushed, treated like I haven't had poor vision since I was 10 yrs old. Kaiser treats people like livestock and honestly it sucks.

The only option he gave me was the type of lens I wanted for my progressive pair of glasses. When he totaled up my 3 pair, I was surprised at the price. He threw in other options like insurance, anti-glare, more expensive poly carbonate lenses. That is certainly a good way to increase the price of the glasses, but a more honest way to do it would be to go over each of the options individually and letting the customer decide. I don’t know if your eyeglass dispensers work on commission or sales bonuses, but it certainly appeared that way. All this aside, Jonathan was very polite, professional, and made the changes I requested.

Always a pleasant experience visiting the optical department at Kaiser in Pleasanton. Today was exceptional. Harrell was very welcoming and definitely showed his expertise with frames as well as lenses. Excellent customer interaction throughout the visit and stand out service.

She is a very nice and detail person. She would want to spend time with her customer to make sure the customer can get the most benefits out of the whole process. She worked out the best at her profession.

I was immediately greeted by the front desk person that took my information and alerted Jonathan Moore that I was present. Jonathan came to get me , greeted me and sat me at his desk . He reiterated the reason for my visit which I confirmed. He was very professional, friendly, courteous, informative with a very pleasant demeanor and personality. I knew I was in good hands and he always knows what he is doing and if there is a problem can always figure out what it is and how to fix it in a very timely manner. He is the best and always takes care of my visual needs .

The staff at Kaiser Permanente optical center, Pleasanton are quite warm and welcoming! I had an excellent experience with the optometrist Dr.Ho. My vision specialist Anjani provided many options for choosing my eye glasses and helped me select eye glasses of my choice. I appreciate her patience and knowledge. I’d highly recommend KP Pleasanton optical center for anyone with optical needs.

I found Harrell at the Kaiser Optometry Department a very positive and helpful representative. It was a pleasure working with him and he helped me understand all the options available for my lenses. I would highly recommend Harrell as one of the most outstanding representatives I've worked with. He is most certainly, one of the most positive individuasl at Kaiser that I've ever encountered. Kaiser is so fortunate to have such an enthusiastic and customer oriented employee!

Anjani has been helping me with my optical needs for a number of years now. I love having her assist me as she is very personable, friendly, yet professional. She is definitely a great asset to Kaiser Optical Dept.

Everyone there is friendly and helpful. I arrived early and asked for adjustments for my glasses while waiting for my contact fitting appointment. It was done immediately, quickly and effectively. My fitting appointment took me in early. She was excellent in communicating everything about the process and diligent in ensuring I would have the right fit considering they need to be a toric and bifocal prescription. She ensured I understood the process and future steps that will be needed to make sure I get the best contacts for my vision. I liked her very much.

Elise was so helpful! This was my first time back in many years so I was nervous and didn't know what type of glasses I wanted. I let her know I was very open to her opinion and suggestions since she helps people all the time find glasses that work for them. She made me feel so comfortable in finding a pair that works for me and I was very grateful! So thank you Elise!!!

Pleasenton Kaiser Optical office gave me great experience. From showing me many alternative prescription glasses covered by my insurance. At my return appt to pick up my lenses I was greeted politely and provided with great costumer service. I recommend this location for your eye wear, quaint and calming environment. Thanks

Make sure that the prescription is actually correct- children need a different approach than adults. My son's prescription is not correct and now he is complaining about headaches and blurriness. Now we have to go back all over again to "adjust" things. I feel like I wasted a whole afternoon already and now I have to go back again!

1) The wait for the optometrist was more than half hour past my appointment time. 2) Don't your optometrists supposed to dilate the eyes especially when my last visit was 6 years before? 3) Ridiculously and artificially sky-high prices of frames! $152 for a small piece of plastic? Total ripoff. Plus $79 for the lens. Better quality frames on reading glasses go for $4 including the lens!! And adding $80 for photochromic? So, your $300 allowance is bogus and meaningless considering the artificially high prices, particularly the frames.

Kira Inouye was remarkable! She was so helpful and patient. I tend to be indecisive and she was great at guiding me and giving me more information to make the best decisions for me. I never felt pressured into an upgrade or upsale. I felt well informed and my questions and concerns were all answered and addressed. What an outstanding human being and one of the best care experiences I’ve ever had.

I had a great experience at Kaiser Optometry. The entire visit was smooth, professional, and easy from start to finish.
