We had a horrible experience here from beginning to end. We set up an appointment for my daughter to get lenses for some glasses she found at another eye care store. My daughter LOVED these glasses, and she had a really hard time finding ones she liked, so we just got them as I know you can usually bring your own frames in to fill a perscription. I did double check on this as well. I called two different Optical Gallery locations. The first did not have any openings for appointments for a while, so they recommended I try the location on Coddington. I called there and they got us in fairly quickly. I talked with two different people at BOTH locations who had our insurance on file and who knew exactly what we had and both of them assured me I could bring my daughter's frames in, and our insurance would cover the lenses. No hesitation. No question. They just said our insurance would cover it at both stores. Later after my daughter's appointment they started pointing toward frame options. When I walked up with our prepurchased frames, I was informed then that insurance wouldn't cover frames brought in, they had to be picked out there. I told them we were told they would and that we spent a lot of money on these frames they just shrugged it off and said we could pay out of pocket for those. I called back later to talk to someone when I was more calm. They did offer to knock the price down on the lenses for the prepurchased frame a little, which was about the only good thing I can say, but we still payed the majority out of pocket. After this happened, at no fault on my end, I was treated horribly when we brought our frames back in and paid and when I returned a phone call to them about the glasses being in stock. It was the main person at the front desk who we spoke with at these times. The other ladies were more friendly, but that woman was very short with both my daughter and myself for no reason at all. We picked up the glasses and brought them home only to find out they are also the wrong prescription. My daughter has a hard time seeing far away and needs glasses for driving. They gave her a perscription to help her see close up? Her close up vision isn't even bad. Her distance vision is worse. So now we have glasses that not only had to be paid for out of pocket due to their error, but she can't use them. I'm not going back because of how we were treated though. I'd much rather eat the cost and do business elsewhere.

A painless experience with a group of extremely kind, helpful, friendly ladies. I interacted with three, including Dr. Raymond. I wish I could remember the lovely girl’s name that took my eyeball pictures, and the woman who helped me pick frames, they were both amazing too! Enjoy that trip to the Virgin Islands, girl!!

We love it here. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, especially Amy! They have a great selection of glasses and the staff will give you an honest opinion which I think is great (not just trying to get you to buy a pair). I'd highly recommend!
