I was visiting and the owner is very kind, and helped me pop my lens back in after it fell out. He retightened the screw and he charged me nothing. I tipped him anyway as a thank you! Thank you very much for your help and a life saver!

I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years with my family. We come all the way from New Jersey because Larry’s shop is the best! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and has the most affordable prices. I’ve tried other eyeglass shops in Manhattan because it’s closer to me but nothing compares, I ended up coming back to get my contacts after the other shop gave me the wrong prescription three times and charged me twice as much! Not to mention they have the cutest shop cat to keep you company while you browse. I rarely leave reviews but this one is long overdue. From contacts, to reading glasses, I hope you will choose optics & beyond for all your eye needs!!

The place was very good, a lot of good food. Had a lot of fun with my friends and overall had a great experience with the place.

I use to go to Flushing optical but no more! Optics and Beyond is my goto place. Affordable price, customer service, professionalism, etc.. what more can you ask for? Oh and ask for Larry. He will help you from beginning to end.

A screw on my matsuda frame fell out from my flight last night. I did a quick Google search for glass stores and found this one. Very happy that I did. It was a great fast and easy fix. Thank you to the gentleman for replacing the screw, and on a Sunday. Cheap couple bucks too. Very honest, would 120% recommend.

Larry is a local wonder - pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and loves his work. Save yourself from all the corporate bureaucracy and let him take care of your vision needs. I’ve lived in the area for 15 years and his is the only store of any kind I go to to just CHAT. I cannot recommend this store enough.

This is a hidden gem. I came in ‘cause my glasses had a loose screw so one of the lenses kept coming out. I was in and out. Price was really good too. And very very nice gentleman that fixed my glasses, I truly appreciate you and hope you have great business in the future to come.

Needed an optician to fit a pair of glasses for my boyfriend's little brother that was a bit wide and loose on him. The optician was super friendly and did a great job fitting and tweaking the glasses to rest comfortably. His cat was also the sweetest! Definitely will be back if I ever need any help with my glasses.

I've been coming to Larry for years. He's super nice and never pushy. I used to dread going to getting new glasses because the opticians at every store I've been to are always super pushy, but I appreciate how nice, patient, helpful, and not pushy he is. He genuinely wants to help you find the right fit. I highly getting your eye care needs from them. They also have an ophthalmologist if you need. So they really have whatever you are looking for!

The store owner is very kind. The store has all kinds of styles and brands. Plus, you can get student discount if you have your student ID with you!

I just finished a wonderful exchange with the owner Larry! He was so kind and patient. He doesn’t do eye exams (only for DMV) but was able to help me fix some vintage frames that had been stepped on. I felt confident leaving these one of a kind frames in his care and could tell that he had the experience needed to do the repair. He also pointed me in the direction of some eye doctors in that area that could do my exam. Service and Care: 💯 I will be back for some frames!
