Dr. Rhea is wonderful but I won't go back. I selected a pair of sunglasses off the rack & paid $44 extra for the frames (I believe they were $180 but not sure since I was never given a receipt). They were not dark enough so I returned them a few days later. Picked out a pair for $120 off the rack again but didn't get a refund for the difference because I was charged a "restocking fee". Sorry but that's a big charge to walk over and replace them on the rack. Again - Dr. Rhea is wonderful but I don't agree with his charges. *** Thank you for the follow up reply Dr. Rhea - I emailed your office but never received a response so I appreciate your reply. The frames were not used - only put one once after I left your office - no different that trying different pairs on in the store. I'd appreciate you asking your office to email me a receipt for my visit. I'm curious what the extra charge was for. Take care and Merry Christmas.

The 2 stars are for Dr. Rhea who is awesome. Otherwise I would give this place zero stars. I went in for double vision and also wanted contacts for my farsightedness. I told the front desk staff, the assistant who brought me back, AND Dr. Rhea that I wanted contacts at this visit. Dr. Rhea and I discussed getting contacts during my appointment and he said I could order them any time I wanted. I also confirmed that I could order the contacts from them at a later date when checking out. I said I would call back to order them and everything was fine. I called back about a month later and they said I didn’t get the right kind of eye exam for contacts and would have to come back and pay another fortune for a contacts exam?!!!? The first eye exam was already $165 without insurance. And I told them MULTIPLE times during my visit that I wanted contacts. The lady on the phone was rude about it and offered no resolution. Really disappointing because I’m not made of money and I did like Dr. Rhea, he is the only eye doctor who listened to me about my double vision.

Dr. Rhea and his team are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about optical care. They got me in as a new patient just before a long holiday weekend and got me out the door within a hour after a full regular eye exam, contacts fitting, and eye imaging analysis and discussion to confirm my eyes are healthy and I don’t have any issues I need to be concerned about at this time. And all without having to dilate my eyes! I am thankful I have found them and that they are just around the corner from my place and offer both weekday and Saturday appointments so I can come by at a time that compliments my work schedule.
