This is the worst place ever! If I could give -0 stars I would. My son had an appointment 6/5/26 and this place has a few locations so we made a mistake and went to the edison location. There we learned that his appointment was at the woodbridge location causing us to be late for his appointment. When i called to explain the situation hoping we could still be seen , they refused to see us and wanted us to reschedule. As this was our first time making an appointment with this providex we thought an exception could be made because it was an honest mistake. They insisted that we reschedule even after telling them it was an emergency be ause my son has been without his glasses for weeks now and he drives so when they asked us to reschedule I said no thank you because I needed to find another provider that could see him that day. We were able to find another provider willing to see him that day but when we got there we learned that they had a hold on his benefits so he couldn't be seen by another doctor. I tried calling the office but only got their call center answering service. I requested that the hold be released so he could see another doctor but they wouldn't remove the hold. I had to contact his insurance to get them to remove it. I was told the hold could be removed but would take 24 hrs so my son couldn't be seen by another doctor until then. Here it is weeks later and he has an appointment with another doctor and we are being told that they still have a hold on his benefits. I tried calling them today and got the call center answering service again. After telling them my issue , they put me on hold then come back to the line telling me to leave a message that nobody is able to take my call at the office. I contacted my insurance company again and they are trying to remove the hold now. This is an absolute nightmare. Once I told them that I would not be rescheduling with them the hold should have been released that same day. They have caused so much inconvenience to my son because all this time he's been without his glasses. Ive never heard of a provider doing this before. This is really unbelievable. Never will I make another appointment here again and if you do make sure you are seen on the day of your appointment or you may experience the same thing!

I had a very disappointing experience with Visionworks. I provided my own expensive eyeglass frame for new lenses, but the store lost my frame. What made the situation even worse was that they refused to replace the frame or provide any refund or fair compensation. Losing a customer's personal property is completely unacceptable, and refusing to take responsibility shows a lack of professionalism and customer care. I expected much better service and accountability. I would not recommend Visionworks to anyone based on my experience. Be careful if you leave your personal belongings with them.⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience I had a terrible experience at the Visionworks location in Woodbridge. I brought my own expensive eyeglass frame because I did not like the frames available in the store. The staff told me it was perfectly fine to bring my own frame, and they would install the lenses. Unfortunately, Visionworks lost my frame. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they simply refunded my copay (around $45–$50) and refused to compensate me for my expensive frame. When I spoke with the manager, I was shocked by the response. I was told that if customers bring in their own frames, Visionworks is not responsible if those frames are lost or damaged. If that is their policy, customers should be clearly warned before handing over their expensive personal property. Instead, they accepted my frame, lost it, and then refused to make things right. They also told me that if I wanted another frame, I would have to choose one from their store for free. That completely misses the point—I brought my own frame because I didn't like the ones they offered. This experience showed a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and customer care. I would strongly advise anyone considering Visionworks Woodbridge not to trust them with your personal frames, especially expensive ones. They are careless with customers' belongings and unwilling to take responsibility when they make a mistake. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Manager behavior so rude. She note give the proper answer.

I had a great experience at Visionworks thanks to A’naya! She fixed my glasses quickly and made the whole process easy. She was very informative, answered all of my questions, and explained everything clearly. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. Thank you, A’naya, for going above and beyond
