For the most part, a positive experience. If you have medi-cal, you will only have about 8 different frames to choose from. But you will have glasses. There is a girl that works front/ back skinny girl that could be coached on customer service. She has a robotic attitude never gives eye contact when speaking to you and gives orders such as “have a seat”, “give me your ID”, just gives I don’t want to be here vibes. But for the most part, the office serves its purpose.

I received excellent service during my exam, with the latest technology in testing. The doctor and staff were excellent.

My first time in and they treated me like royalty. First class service made me feel like I was not just another customer. They provided me a prescription I could use anywhere to shop around for the best prices for glasses and frames. They gave me a very in-depth eye exam. I will go back and I recommend Craig W. Hoeft Optometrics to everyone in the San Fernando area.

This place is good. I always get great information when my annual exams are conducted and they are very generous with their samples. I have been with them since 2010.

Dr Craig Hoeft is an awesome optometrist and highly recommend him. He's very collaborative in working with patients. His knowledge and skill is top notch. Without going too deep, I've been Dr Hoeft's patient for about 23 years and he's helped me through some challenging issues such as a detached retina, cataract surgeries and treatments. Today, my vision is close to 20/20 in both eyes and I credit his collaborative style with saving my precious vision. Dr Craig is simply one of the best!

The staff are all great. Got my first ever eye exam and driving glasses set up perfectly. Veronica got me all set up with my pretty new glasses and she was great. Very happy.

Had to find a new place since my insurance changed, and this was a great find for an eye exam. Staff is courteous, helpful, and all COVID protocols are followed. Craig took the time to read my file, my eye care history and asked questions! He went over my eye photos and explained everything. He made recommendations, but there is no hard sell. I will be going back for sure.

Excellent services. Craig does a great job walking you through everything that he is doing to examine your eyes, and he is very helpful in making sure you get exactly what you need for glasses or contacts.

Love the staff

After losing a couple of pairs of glasses prescribed by this office within the last few months, I'd decided to get some for computer use. I didn't make an appointment but since I had some errands to take care of in that area, thought I'd stop by since I was expecting it to be just a matter of them writing out a new prescription. As it turns out, Dr. Caballero said he would need to take some measurements and such, to make sure it was accurate. They took me in within an hour, I just ran around to do a couple of quick errands and went back. Dr. Caballero is wonderful. He takes his time and you don't feel rushed or that you're not being given the proper attention. The staff is good at customer service and very helpful.

Have been coming to this location for years ever since I was a child. Great customer service I've known the staff for years they're like family. Excellent place to come and get your eyes checked.

They have a nice selection of glasses. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Both Dr. Craig and his father Dr. Wayne are sooo very nice . I feel like I hit the gold mine finding these two! They are wonderful. two
