I had been seeing a doctor there who retired, and the new doctor rushed me through our appointment. I’ve been having horrible dry eye symptoms and she wouldn’t even give me five seconds to ask about it, when I had told the assistant about it. I wanted a referral to a specialist and now I’m not sure who to see. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Because of insurance I have to wait another year to find another doctor for an eye exam.

I had not issues at this clinic and I have been a patient for 3 years. As for the dark shade comment they are on the counter as you check out. No they don't enforce them, be responsible for your own eyes.

I took my husband there and he had a comprehensive exam that included having his eyes dilated. They sent him out without any dark shades which is totally unacceptable. This is very bad for the eyes, especially for one with macular degeneration. The same thing happened to me years ago when I went to this clinic and I never went back. I asked them, "Don't you give us dark shades?" The women's reply was that they don't find that to be any more of an advantage. Every medical article states that you should protect your eyes from the sun. The optometrist I saw years later provided dark shades after my exam and said the sun is not your friend. So the clinic was bring negligent with my husband.
