My last eye appointment was 10+ years ago at one of those discount eye centers. I bought their “2 pairs” and got an eye exam and spent nearly $500. Wore the glasses for a short time but they just weren’t right. I visited the team at Osius today, I was greeted by two lovely women at the front desk, filled out my paperwork and waited about 5 minutes. The assistant was also a splendid woman who did a couple of tests, took me into the exam room, asked me a few questions, joked with me and told me the doctor would be right in. Within 2 minutes Dr. Pratt came in the exam room sat down and asked me about myself, what I do for work and outside of the office. He completed the exam with care and explained everything very thoroughly. At the end he said I had what’s called presbyopia (over 40 and the lenses in my eyes don’t work like they used to). He said that he wasn’t going to sell me an expensive pair of glasses, that I didn’t need them, I could go on Amazon and buy a pair of readers and be good to go. I went to checkout and the lovely front desk gals asked if I needed glasses, I told them I’d be getting readers! She informed me that my insurance covered glasses if I wanted to get them. Okay sure, what’s that going to cost????? For $30 I got a new pair of glasses and had a great experience. I will be recommending the Osius team to others! Great customer care!

Susie greeted me nicely when I came in and helped me with filling out a survey on the tablet. Kathy set my mind at ease doing the poof test for glaucoma. And Dr. Tim is just the best. Shame my eyes only need looking at every 6 months. Great place
