Would give 0 stars if possible for vision center where I had picked out my frames and had glasses made. I have used Dr. Klecker on and off over 2 decades. He’s a good optometrist. So star goes to him. The uneducated help took 5 try’s in the span of 3 months to get prescription right and eventually I had to go to a different place. Dr. Klecker’s prescription was right. They new lense center got it right first try. I liked the frames so kept them. They cracked and were still under warranty, I had to take them back to Pal Optical and the could not find a replacement frame to fit the lenses. I was there 2 times at their request to try and fit the lenses to a different frame in stock. However they were not at all like the original. They were going to order similar frames and call when they were in. 3 weeks later, nothing. They wanted me to come in once again to measure the frames and lenses. I asked why they didn’t have that already since they made them originally. The size or prescription never changed. They put me on hold to look and never came back! I’m done with their nonsense! Take away….use Dr. Klecker, take prescription elsewhere.

The optometrists here are wonderful. However, there is one receptionist who is very snarky. I called to setup appointments for my kids and I. She quickly told me I needed my ID cards so we could “get this out of the way”. I responded that we had all been there before. She cut me off saying “well we don’t keep that on file. You need your ID cards so we can get this stuff over with.” Taken aback by feeling rushed, I giggled and said “well that’s rude”. She told me “ride? I’m rude?!” I responded with “um yes” She told me “well then you can call back!” I told her that I’d be calling somewhere else. My kids and I have been going there for 5-6 years and have NEVER felt as devalued as I did in that moment. Needless to say, customer service is lacking, so we moved to a different optometrist location.

My initial visit was great! The problem was when I came to pick up my glasses. The first thing Sherry kept me waiting about thirty minutes. I also was leaving a pair of glasses to be fitted with frames. Upon check out Sherry fumbled around and could not process my card. My card did not go through. The receipt said denied. I Sherry said my card would not go trough because it was denied.I explained to Sherry that couldn't be right because the card has a zero balance. Finally she looked again and the printed on the receipt code error. I left my glasses and was told that someone would call me in the morning. No one ever called. So I called and explained the situation and the young lady told me to call during the day and speak with Linda. I The young lady asked me to in. I tried to tell her again that Sherry said that I would not have to come. The young told me," I'm trying to tell you what to do but you keep repeating yourself. I told her that I was repeating myself because she won't allow me to speak. This young lady hung up.
